Weird

What was that? I wanted to ask more, but she made it pretty cleat, that she doesn't want to talk about it. Whatever it was. Maybe she was an famous actress, and didn't want us to find out, because the movies she played in were... I don't know weird? No, that wouldn't make sense.

"Olivia, Nick; dinner is ready!"

Yes, today was Friday! We always ate pizza on Fridays. I stepped out of my aunt's room and went to the kitchen.

"Nick! Wh- What did you do!? "

"What? You don't like it? Mrs. Terry always says that I look like a homeless person, and Lilly..."

"Lilly? Who is that? Your girlfriend?"

"Olivia," my aunt glanced at me with a look that said 'you better shut up, or else not so nice things might happen' not that she was threatening me, she would send me to bed without my dinner, and she knows how much I LOVE food.

"So, tell me Nick. Why does Mrs. Perry say you look like a homeless person?" She looked like she was about to run to that Mrs. Larry and yell at her.

"Her name is Mrs. Terry, Bea," Nick sometimes called our aunt Beatrice, by her nickname Bea, "And she says that, because I always wear jeans, that are too short, and shirts that are to big, and my shoes look like they're a hundred years old."

"Okay, first of it is hard to find jeans that are long enough for you, but still fit around the waist, and the shirts are always too big or too small. Second these shoes are your favorite ones, because they're comfortable, and stylish."

"Yeah, like a hundred years ago," I mumbled.

"Liv! You don't say things like that!"

"Sorry..." Not sorry.

"Bea, I still don't understand why you don't just make clothes for me. I mean you are a designer. Fashion designer. Why can't you do them?"

Good question, boy. I've been wondering about that for a while, too, but every time we tell her, she changes the topic.

"You know that this is my job, and I had a lot to do in the last few months." That wasn't a good excuse, but we didn't want to argue, because it was Pizza-Friday, and Nick and I loved pizza.

After dinner, I watched a movie with my aunt. Nick wanted to do stuff with his new thing he bought today. I looked a little like a glass with levers, and holes, and something that looked like a box, but a very tiny box.

My aunt made buttered popcorn. It was a huge bowl. She always said it was for everyone, but she knew I didn't like popcorn, and she acts like she forgot. I got a bowl with cookies 'n cream ice cream, a chocolate bar, and gummy bears. The movie was about spies and when the spies killed some innocent people my aunt went into the bathroom, cause she had to pee. But when she didn't come out until the movie was almost done, I think it was because of something else. Maybe the spy reminded her at the guy who shows up at our apartment earlier, because they looked pretty similar.

When she came out again I asked, "Are you okay? I'm sorry if you don't like the movie. You can chose the next time, it's just that I heard people in my school talking about it, and I wanted to check it out."

"Oh, honey. It wasn't the movie, I guess it's just the excitement. You know my fashion show is on Sunday! Two days! I can't believe this is actually happening. There will be a lot to do tomorrow, so I should probably go to bed. You can finish the movie if you want to. Just turn the volume down, would you?"

"Sure. Sleep well, love you."

"I love you too." She gave me a kiss, and went to go check on Nick. I turned the TV back on, and they were shooting, and when the guns were fired, my aunt wasn't out of the room yet, and she winced at the sound of guns. I suddenly didn't believe it was just the Fashion Show that made her act weird.

Thanks for reading guys! I hope you enjoyed the chapter. Was is aunt Bea's problem? Why is she acting so weird? Keep reading if you want to find out!
