Third person P.O.V

[Y/n] was in her room 'studying' for school because her parents told her that she needed perfect grades or she would be punished in the dungeon but she wasnt studying for school she was actually studying dark and forbidden magic, which she was told not to by several people

First person P.O.V

I was studying a dark magic spell called arc of time but it said it was dangerous and that it could cause ageing or death to the caster so I decided to use another spell that was easy to use it can rewind small things like if I broke a glass cup on the ground I could rewind the time of the glass and let it have its old state

"Miss [y/n] its time for Dinner" one of the maids called "coming~" I said in my 7 year old self a smile forming on my face, the maid was the only friend I had and who thought me about magic 'I will do anything to protect you Maki' I thought to myself with determination I knew very well once my parents found out that Maki was the one who showed me magic they will kill her...but I wont let that happen.

"Here is your dinner [y/n]" Maki smiled at me "Thank you Maki!" I smiled happily while my mother stared at her, her eyes full of hate and jealousy "Maki go wash the dishes!" She yelled which caused me to give my mother a death glare she flinched a bit then regained her composure "yes ma'am" Maki bowed and left to wash the dishes "so how are your grades going?" My father asked coldly "great sir I have all A's in my classes and I have surpassed all students" this caused him to smirk "now thats the daughter I want! I want her to be strong, smart, and powerful than anybody in this world! Because I dont want a usless daughter remember what I told you [y/n]? You where a mistake and if you are to be my daughter then you shall be perfect! " This only caused me to look down at the table ashamed 'yeah...i was just a big mistake' I thought "now hurry up [y/n] because tomorrow you will wake up early for your first day of training" "training for what?" I asked my mother a bit confused "Magic" my father smirked 'about time!' I looked serious on the outside but on the inside I was happy and full of hope...my dream was to always join a guild and that guild was Phantom Lord.

-time skip to next day-

I woke up early and changed, I went downstairs where my parents where waiting for me with a beautiful young woman with short dark purple hair and black eyes and a young boy with black eyes and white spiky hair standing beside her "[y/n] this will be your new master Ur she is an ice wizard she uses Ice make magic and the young boy is her pupil Lyon Vastia, she will teach you all she knows about ice make magic" I nodded at my mother "and remember [y/n] you have to be perfect and surpass everybody or I will kill Maki I know she showed you magic and Imagine what your father will do to her when he finds out" my mother whispered to me, this made my blood turn cold and I balled up my fists I wanted to cry but I held it all in and forced a smile "yes mother I will do as you and father say" I bowed to them "you better be perfect [y/n] or I will regret letting a big mistake like you be alive" I nodded "I will pack some of my stuff and then i will be on my way" they didnt care and just left 'like always they dont care, but first I need to tell Maki about what my mother said' I ran upstairs quickly packing in a small bag my forbidden and dark magic books and a black robe with my clothes I will use for battle someday which I made

It was a black robe with a turquoise diamond in the middle, white shorts a short turquoise shirt and black combat boots

"Maki" I called out to her and she quickly came "yes [y/n]?" Im leaving this hell of a home and I want you to leave my mother knows about you teaching me magic and if my father finds out he will kill you" Maki was shocked to hear that 'I thought I wasn't so obvious about it!!' Maki thought to herself and she gave me a reassuring smile "dont worry [y/n] ill be fine but I want to give you something so you can remember me by" she took off her necklace that she had and it was a picture of me and her "a locket?" "Yes I want you to keep it and protect it it has two empty slots so you can insert pictures of your loved ones ok?" She smiled I couldnt help but cry "I-Im going t-to miss you M-maki!" I hugged her "Me too" she tried not to cry but tears started to form and stream down her cheeks
