<Amber's POV> (because she is a forgotten nub ;o;)

It was the next day. For some reason, Jenna had replaced Alana as night shift. Jenna said something about nightmares, but to be honest, everyone had those now-a-days.

I stood up. Jenna was huddled in a corner, looking sad. I was confused. Or is that part of her personality? I don't know, I've never met her before.

As I looked at Grace, and I could tell that was definitely not part of her personality. My friends, or acquaintances for some of them, were looking at Jenna in worry. Well, except for Alana, she was sleeping her butt off. I guess she hasn't got quite used to the new sleep schedule.

Today, we had to hunt again, but for some reason Jenna was refusing. Okay, for certain, something was up.

I wandered around until I found a good hunting spot. A dry sand dune covered in bushes and a few trees.

I held my spear tightly. A squawk sounded from one of the bushes, and I stopped immediately. A turkey tottered out, and it took a while to notice me cause I was partly blended in from the mud and rain that soaked my clothes.

I quickly plunged my spear into the poor turkey before it walked away. A screech came out from the turkey, and it faltered, falling into it's own pool of blood.

You might be thinking: How did I kill that turkey so easily? Well, we're trapped in a GAME, remember?Throwing the lifeless turkey over my shoulder, I heard rushed pants from the vegetation.

"Amber!" 'It' yelled. I turned around immediately. Huh? I thought. It sounded like Lea.

Narrowing my eyes to get a better view, I saw Lea, fear covering her face.  "Amber! AMBER!" Lea yelled. "Lea?!" I yelled back, surprised. Lea opened her mouth as if she wanted to say something, but then an uncomfortable look spread across her face and she shut her mouth.

I didn't mention it, or mind it at all, actually. "Lea, where were you?"

"Somewhere..."

"Huh?"

"Just somewhere."

I shrugged in response. Then I turned around and looked at a trail I made. "C'mon, lets get back to camp."

-time skip to when Lea and Amber are back at camp cause traveling is boring-

Grace was there, a... Bear cub? Whatever that was, it hung loosely over her shoulder. Jenna, of course, was still huddled in her corner. "Lea!" Grace yelled, her face lighting up immediately when she saw her.

Jenna looked up, and a look of hope spread through her face. "Lea!" She shouted happily, and the two girls devoured her in a hug. That looks awkward for Lea, I thought.

Alana arrived through the chunky doorway, a large bird clutched tightly in her hands. She dropped it in the make-shift prey pile we made, and turned our way. Her face glowing, she joined in on Grace and Jenna enveloping Lea and squeaked, "LEA-BOO!" I felt bad for Lea, Alana's hugs are really tight. Trust me, I know.

Lea squeaked in protest and breathed for air, shortly before Alana squeezed her. Lea quickly pushed the girls away.

A familiar voice shouted out, "Hello! I got another deer." Angela was there in the mossy doorway. As she swiveled her head around, her face became happy, and then serious. Throwing her deer into the lame pile we had she looked at Lea and gave her a look that said, "We'll talk about this later."

I was confused, and I could see Alana was too. Angela was usually an overly-cutesy, squealing girl, barely serious. Well, I guess we're trapped in brutal game, but still.
