Before you say anything. I know, I know. The most girly thing to do is to have a diary. Father insists though.
Putting back my diary, I stalked out of my room. Looking out into the long hallway I was in and seeing no intelligent life anywhere. I strut down the hallway as if I was on the catwalk. I probably looked glamorous with my baggy, grey sweatshirt and sweatpants, also sporting a knotted, bird nest-like messy bun.
My fun was killed by none other than my 10th suitor, that father had assigned me to marry. "Amethyst! My cherry blossom! Ho- What are you wearing?" Ugh I hate his voice. He sounds like a pubescent teen even though he's 20 years old.
"I am wearing the most comfortable clothes out there, and i'm just about to see mother and father. What are you here, by the way?" I said with nastiness. "I was going to see your parents, for a request they could not turn down." Ugh, have I mentioned that I hate his voice. "Alright, don't get too full of yourself."
Shouldering him while I walked past and continued down the awfully long hallway.
Opening the huge, dark oak double doors and casually stepping into the thrown room. Being greeted with a ball of paper chucked at my face. Noticing it was a page from the human newspaper, I reached down and picked it up.
Shakily opening the paper, to find my face and a big headline saying 'IF FOUND REPORT TO POLICE'. Well shit. I'm in trouble now. Well, the incident with Jeremy didn't go very well- like I said- but I wanted to get a present. So I got him a really nice watch from the jewelers. I didn't actually 'get' it for him. I accidentally, purposely stole it.
Now that I have read the contents and received more than 1000 death glares from both of my parents, and got my face hit with the rest of the paper, I will finally get my talking to.
"What the hell, Amethyst! I thought you said you wouldn't do bad stuff anymore!" I could say 'I am the princess of Hell, I can do what I want' and pull that card on him because I usually have the last say in everything. Just not with mother and father though.
"Deary, Amethyst is a demon, and the daughter of Satan. You can't expect her to act by the ways of God." My mother's soft and calm voice lulled father to calm down. "Yes, but she should do what her parents say!" my father's voice was raised to it's maximum, so this was a sign for mother to stop siding with me and step down. She did what she was assigned to do, and sat back down on her thrown. Father kept standing undisturbed by how the grounds were shaking and crumbs from the cobblestone ceiling dropping down at my feet.
"Sorry dear, but Amethyst has taken it too far this time." Father said a bit more relaxed. "It's okay Luce." With what just happened you might think that mother is too easy on me. She always takes my side when father and I are in an argument. Which is really cool of her. "Amethyst, you have to do what your father says from now on. Okay dear?" My mother's voice sounded, breaking me out of my thought bubble. "Okie- dokie"
With that said, I turned around and followed my father, who was stomping around like an angry elephant on drugs. 'Dad looks really weird like that. There is probably a volcano on dimension 3 (human dimension) and killing hundreds of people.'
My train of thought wad once again lost because of my father's feet stomping on the ground, and making the sound bounce off the walls, and go straight into my ears. "Father?" my voice breaking. He turned around and looked at me with pity. "yes?" now he sounded so sorry for me and i'm just faking. "Can I just go to my room and think about what I've done. I'll even take back the watch and say sorry to Jeremy." tears were rolling down my face as I spoke, to make it more believable that is. "Alright. Fine. But don't do it again, or else." warning me with a pointed finger. "Alright father"
Walking back to my room was a nightmare wherever I went, the maids would point and look at me. 'so they heard it too, huh?'. Along the hallway, I could see a figure at my door.
OMG, YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE IT. I have to text Jeremy!
