Aurora hurried among the crowd. She was going to be late, again. At last, after a few more minutes of running, she saw the glowing sign of the café she worked in.
'Café of Stray Hearts'
She entered the store, a small bell ringing as she did.
"You're late." a voice hissed. She looked at the man behind the counter. The man who made her weak on her knees, with fear.
He had messy raven hair and steel grey eyes. He was staring at her so intensely that she had thought that she would melt.
"I-I'm so s-sorry, C-Captain!" she stuttered as she lowered her head in shame.
This wasn't a rare occurrence, Aurora being late and her boss, Law, scolding her. It happened almost every single morning.
Law sighed. He couldn't understand why she was always late. They live in the same apartment and they were neighbors too. The shop was only at least five songs away when walking.
But why was she always late?
He didn't notice that he was glaring at her until she visibly shook in front of him. He sighed then gave her a nod and they began to open up the café.

•It was a fairly busy day.
A few people came in unhappy, brokenhearted, but left absolutely happy.
And why?
Because of the amazing food and staff, of course.
The waitresses and waiters were there to give the stray hearts advice for they too had once strayed.
This café was for the broken and the lost who wanted to be found.
Every single member of the staff had once been a stray. Some were depressed, bullied, bullies, bitches, jerk and others.
They were lost, the light that had once shone brightly, guiding them through the path, had dimmed.
As the light lost it's glow, so did they. It caused them to get lost with nothing to guide them, no way to come back home.
But here, in The Café of Stray Hearts, they made a new home.
Because they could never return from where they came from, from where they lost their light.
There was no home there anymore, only monsters.
The only way to find a new home was to keep on moving forward. And as they marched on, they found a light. Though it was faint, it guided them and then they found themselves in front of the café...
Their new home.
