Feather's PoV
I slowly made my way through the forest. The pads on my paws were raw and bleeding, I'd been walking through this forest for a moon and I haven't stopped since that day. I came to a human home and jumped the fence, peering into the window. I remember mom and dad telling me not the go in there as a younger kitten.
Sorry mom...dad...guess I have to break the rules this time huh?
I jumped down and padded to the sliding glass door that was the human exist and entrance out of the prison they called a home. I saw two humans beating a small kitten a little younger than me, I growled to myself and hid as they stopped and were coming to the glass door. They slid the glass door open and threw the tiny kitten out, he landed on his feet but soon fell as he was too weak to stand. They closed the door and I padded to him, seeing that he was covered in small cuts and buries. I began licked the blood off his fur, finding out that he had a orange fur with darker orange stripes.
"Are you alright?" I mewed softly.
"Y-yeah...they do this a lot..." He mewed weakly.
"T-they do that often?! They shouldn't! You shouldn't let them!!!" I hissed and my tiny razor sharp claws went out.
"Please don't hurt me..." He closed his eyes and winced, waiting for a painful blow.
"Whoa...hold on there my little friend..." I stood there, my ice blue eyes sparked
"Friend?" He opened his eyes and looked at me.
"Well of course haha" I mewed happily.
"Well...your my first friend..." He purred weakly.
"That's awesome! You're my first friend too! The name's Feather" I purred loudly.
"I am Thunder" he smiled and found the strength to get up and stand on his own.
I padded behind him and grabbed Thunder's collar with my small teeth, pulling on the collar until the back ripped in half. I sat the collar in front of him.
"Thanks Feather!" He bounced up and down.
"Don't mention it Thunder" I smiled at him and I could see his amber eyes light up. We jumped over the fence and I continued my adventure but now...it was with a friend.
