chapter5: be normal all of you!!

Clair's pov

We all watch in shock at the fight unrolling in front of us. I run to Jessie and try to help her up when her mate throws that ass in our direction. I didn't think it was on purpose, but Jessie did.

" watch where you're throwing shit!" She growled out. She then said in an tone that made me wanna hind, " you almost hit us .....mate." Otavian and I make eye contact. I give him the im okay nod. He walks to where that wolf had landed and says in a voice so smooth and rich you would swear it was chocolate.

"He's out Alpha."

"He'll be more than out when I get over there." Delta Dragonstone growls out. This family and their timper is gonna kill us all.

My father speakes up." Before I allow you to do that because he atttacked your pup."

"Im not a pup thank you!" Jessie yells my father just pick up a stick and throws it to her.

" entertain yourself while we're talking, pup." Jessie didn't hear the last part of it obviously, because she caught the stick and walked over to her mate and started poking him .....everywhere with the stick. " like I was saying, " my dad continues," before I let you kill him. I thought you would like to know as well as the rest of us why our daughters are calling these wolves mates."

"Fine . But as soon as we find out im killing him." Our father's turn to us.

"Anything you would like to tell us, girls? Like the fact that yall are now calling the leaders of the River Creek pack names that include immense love?" Our beta askes slowly. Jessie stopes poking her mate.

"Be normal all of you!! I gots this!" Jessie yells out. My gods kill us now it would be quicker."how did you find out about the cow?" She ask.......Wait what? What in hades is she talking about? " who told you about my love for my cow, buttermilk?" Its official she's gone off the deep end. Everyone looks at her.

"What cow?" The Alpha of the river creek pack asks.

"wait so this isn't about my cow...."she looks at me and Tori. Tori shakes her head no. " I mean ...What cow ...i serenity don't have a cow that sleeps with me. "

"We'll get to that next young lady. " her father sayes.

The Alpha steps forward." My mate apperently can't comprehend whats going on so I'll explain. These girls are our mates and with the help of the Sky twins pack, we should be able to return home with our mates soon."

"Wait you want us to let our youngests go off with folks we don't know?" Dadddy Dragonstone sayes.

"I apologize for that we'll fix that now." He motions all of us forward." This is my third in command, Octavian. The tall silent guy over there with the long haired blonde is Gray,my beta. I am the Alpha of the river creek pack, Alpha Eric that is. Now would you as kind as to introduce yourselves as well." Jessie walks over and stand in between Tori and I .

She wispers "why in Aphodite's moring after pill did I get the Alpha?"
We shake our heads at her.

"And im asuming you know our daughters' names." Daddy chicken,as Jessie calles him, says sarcastically. He already knows that they didn't know our name.

"No sir im afraid not my mate is quite a hand full. How about we alow them to introduce themselves." Alpha Eric said the last part more as a statement. We look at each other. My father clears his throat. Great he wants me to go first.

I step forward, and speak looking down respectfully, "I am Clair Le Beau.....daughter of alpha James Le Beau and luna Emily Le Beau of the Sky twins pack..."Tori and I have been coached on how to act around other packs. Jessie not so much. I pasued unsure on whether or not to add the last part. I decide to," I am also mate to the third in command of the river creek pack..um.. Octavian."

Tori steps up next to me but leaves room for Jessie to strp in between us. She castes her eyes down on the ground. She clears her throat then speaks, "im tori..." she was cut off.

"Speak up my dear. We can't hear you." Her father sayes

She trys again a little louder this time "I'm Tori Pollo. Daughter of Beta Mark pollo and Beta female Sarah Pollo of the Sky twins pack..I'm mated to Beta Gray of the River Creek pack."
Jessie mind linked us 'dont worrie i gots this and ill try to sound like yall.'
This is going to be fun.

Jessie step forward next to us. She doesn't look down. She refuses to allow for other to look down on her.
She speaks loudly, "I'm Jessie Dragonstone. Daughter of ......the pack fighter, Deta Scott Dragonstone and the late" She pauses and tori snd i put our hands on her lower back. She hasn't said her name in all the years shes been gone no one has except her father who cried out four his lost mate at night. " and the late Marie...... Dragonstone, the ...the delta female... im mates to the alpha of the river creek pack, alpha Eric." After speaking her mother's name, spoke fast and quiet to keep calm and from crying. She meets the eyes of all except her father.

"Why did you say late because I mean unless they weren't mates your father should be dead or close to it? " one of the guys asks. Oh may the gods hold them back. Why in demeter's plantation would you ask that? Who ever did is going to die.
