The next morning, I woke up by someone calling on the family-phone. So I got out of bed really fast and ran to the phone to pick up.
- Hello, it's Ciara Collins, I answered
- Oh, it's Brian, Brain said. I think I typed in the wrong number. Sorry.
- No that's alright, I said.
Brian got quiet for 30 seconds.
- Are you sure? Brian asked.
- Yes, I'm sure, I said.
So Brian and I talked a lot. In like half an hour, before I said:
- I gotta go, but I'll call you later! See you in school on Monday! (it was Saturday)
- See you, Brian replied nicely and hung up.
My mom came.
- Who was it? my mom asked.
- Brian, the new guy in school, I said honestly.
My mom didn't say anything about it. But after a minute she asked if Brian was my "boyfriend". I told her "no" honestly. But I told her that I was really into him. My mom nodded understanding and went away to the living room.

That afternoon I called Brian again, and asked if we could meet tomorrow. Which he said "yes" to. So we talked for half an hour - again - before we hung up.

The day after, at 1pm we met at a café, and we talked for hours, actually. About everything, exactly everything.
- You know what? Brian suddenly asked.
- What? I said nicely.
- I really feel like I can trust you, Ciara, Brian said honestly.
- You can trust me, I replied. If I promise I won't tell anyone any of your secrets, I hold on to that promise. So if you tell me a secret, I WON'T tell anyone. Not even my parents.
Brian smiled. "His smile is so cute!"
I thought.

Now it was time to pay the bills.
-  No, I'll pay, Brian said and "offered" himself.
- Thank you, that's so sweet of you, I said gladly while putting my wallet in my jacket-pocket.
Brian paid the bills, and we went out of the café.
- Can I follow you home? Brian asked.
- That shouldn't be a problem, I answered.
So we walked home to my place, and talked and laughed a lot. "I really like this guy", I thought.

We went home to my place, and while we were taking of our jackets, my mom came.
- Oh, hey mom, I said. This is Brian.
- Hi, Brian said shyly.
- Hi, Brian, my mom said nicely. Nice to meet you! Welcome in!
It felt like Brian felt welcome in our home, which he was. Anyhow; I showed him around my home.

After a few hours Brian said:
- You know, I really like you. I mean, you're nice, you're funny, you're smart, and so on. I could list up a lot of nice things about you.
I laughed of embarrassment.
- Thank you, I said and blushed a bit. But you know what?
- What? Brian asked curiously.
- I really like you too, I said shyly, but honestly. Because you're nice, trustable, funny and more. Like you said; I could list up a lot of nice things about you.
Brian laughed of embarrassment. But then we kissed. "Are we really together now?" I thought of happiness and excitement.
