In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
The Battle of Badr
In the second year after Hijrah
At the wells of Badr, southwest of Medina
On the 17th day of blessed Ramadan
Came the day of Furqaan
The first and foremost battle in the Islamic history
Sang the praises of Allah's glory and believer's victory
With 313 Muhajids in Islamic army
Who fought for the truth with gallantry
A battle to remember
Fought by the best of the believer
Armed with faith and valour
Led by Allah's beloved Messenger (SAW)
Thousands of angels sent by Dhul-Jalaali Wal-Ikraam
An answer to the prayers of the Prophet of Islam(SAW)
Weakening the strength of the oppressors nizam
Rendering their minds to a state of chaos and qualm
Upon seeing the battalion of angels ahead
Filled with dread, the traitorous Satan fled
And then by the will of Allah (SWT) did the oppressors fell
And the sahabah (R.A.A) marvel.
