Louis' POV

I was awakened abruptly by a loud banging on my bedroom door. I sat up, startled, and looked at the clock on my nightstand. 5:30 a.m. Lovely. I threw myself back in my bed and sighed loudly, feeling myself about to drift off once again. About to is the key part there. Just as I was about fall into a deep slumber, a certain raven haired boy decided to come in and pull me off my bed by my foot. I hit the ground hard and groaned in pain, looking up at Zayn who was laughing hysterically at my misfortune. I pulled myself up, wincing in pain, and rubbed my sore bum. I glared at Zayn and slapped him rather hard on the back of my head. A look of pain his features and I smirked, satisfied. "You're an absolute twat, you know that?" He said, rubbing the back of his head and I shrugged innocently. "Just get ready. We have to clock in by 6:30." He huffed. "I know, Zayn. I've worked at Disney longer than you have." I replied, rolling my eyes. He clutched his chest in mock hurt. "What are you trying to say, Lou? Am I not good enough, is that it?" He yelled and broke into a fit of fake sobs. I rolled my eyes and shoved him playfully. "Stop being a git and get ready." I said, motioning to the door. He rolled his eyes but headed to the door anyway. "Alright, alright. Don't get your tights in a twist, I'm going." He said, smirking.

I gasped. "At least I don't have to wear parachute pants, Prince Ali." I said and bowed, shutting the door. I heard Zayn stomp his foot and grunt before walking away to get ready himself. I chuckled and shook my head, walking over to my wardrobe to get my Peter Pan costume. I looked at it and grimaced. I absolutely hate the tights but at least I don't have to dress as Aladdin unlike some people in this household. I got dressed and looked at myself in the mirror, smoothing out my costume and fixing my fringe. I put my hat on and headed down the hall to the bathroom. After brushing my teeth and putting on deodorant and cologne, I made my way to the kitchen. Zayn saw me and slid me a plate with a bagel on it as well as handed me the grape jelly and butter. I flashed him a grateful smile before scarfing the bagel down with a cuppa. I checked the time on my phone and saw that it was 5:56. "Z, lets go. We've got about 30 minutes to make it and we don't know how much traffic there'll be." I said to him. He nodded and tossed me the car keys that were on the counter. We headed out, locking the front door and making our way into my car. I grabbed a stick of gum from the pack in the glove box and handed one to Zayn, which he gratefully took. I started up the car and pulled out of the parking lot. I drove down the highway, humming along to the tune playing softly from the car radio. Zayn had his headphones in with his eyes glued to his phone, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration. I raised an eyebrow at him and took the red light we were at as an opportunity to yank on of his earbuds to see what he was listening to.

"Prince Ali, mighty is he, Ali Ababwa.
Strong as ten regular men definitely-"

That verse was all I heard before Zayn was grabbing the earbud back and looking at me with wide eyes. I burst out laughing, pointing a finger at him. "W-why are you listening to that-t?" I ask, clutching my stomach and attempting to regain my breath.  "Well you know, Mr. Murphy wants me to learn the lyrics because he's planning on making me and Jade do an afternoon performance." He mumbled.  His face was flushed and he looked down, embarrassed. I saw the light change and chuckled lightly, patting Zayn on the shoulder reassuringly. The rest of the drive was silent, apart from the music playing softly from the radio.  When we made it to the employee entrance, we showed security our ID's and waited for them to be scanned before parking in the usual spot. "Alright, mate well have fun with the new afternoon show and I'll see you at lunch, okay?" I said to Zayn, who was already walking away from me. "Yeah, yeah see you at lunch Lou." He said waving me off, his face already buried in his phone again. I rolled my eyes and made my way to my section of the park. I planted a smile on my face, preparing myself for what today would bring me.
