Lauren's pov.

When Zoey walked into her room and closed her door I seen Arctica walk out of her room. I opened my arms and my daughter quickly hugged me.

"Will you help me make dinner?" I asked her and she nodded her head and pulled away

"I need to shower first then I'll be right there." She said and I kissed her wet hair. When she turned around I slapped her butt and she yelled and laughed at me.

"Not cool mom." She said and shut the bathroom door. I chuckled and went back into the kitchen to finish dinner. As promised Arctica Came and helped me finish dinner. The door bell Rang and soon the house was filled with Chloe screaming that her grandparents were here. I smiled and wiped my hands on the red hand towel and walked over to my parents.

"Hey guys." I said and hugged each of them individually. They gave me some small Hey's and continued to talk to their two grandchildren. Camila snuck up behind me and pulled my body close to her.

"I'll set the food on the table and you to go get Zoey." Camila said and kissed my neck I turned in her arms and kissed her lips tasting the cherry ChapStick she loves so much. I pulled away and kissed her head and looked into her brown eyes.

"Don't burn anything." I told her and as I went to take a step around her she slapped me in the side and laughed.

"What I burnt food one time and I'm never allowed to help again?" She asked and I nodded.

"Arctica help your mother." I told my eldest daughter. She nodded and I looked back at Camila and her mouth was open.

"You better close that before someone puts something in it." I whispered in her ear and made my way to my daughter's room. I walked to the room that had a blue and yellow Z on the door. I knocked but got no answer so I walked in and seen the blonde headed girl laying in the bed. I walked over to her and her face was puffy and he'd eyes were swollen. My first thought was she ate some peanuts but then I realized that her cheeks were tear stained. I laid down in bed with my sleeping child and slowly rubbed her back.

"Wake up my little day. Grandma and grandpa are here." I said and she wrinkled her nose and shook her head.

"I don't want to get up." She said and I laughed at her. I pulled her close to me and she held in to my shirt. I patted her back and hummed a small song before I tried again.

"Zoey you have to wake up baby." She shook her head but sat up at the same time I did. I stood up and she held out her arms for me to pick her up and I chuckled at the lazy girl. I kissed her head and carried her out of her room and into the kitchen where our family was waiting for us. I tried to set her down in her chair but she wouldn't let go of me. I sighed and sat beside Camila and gave her a small smile.

"There's grandma's girl." My mom said but Zoey hid in my shirt and didn't even bother to respond

"She just woke up." I said and my mom smiled at me and continued to eat her food. I made my plate and tried to get Zoey to eat some but she just hid in my shirt. As I ate I patted her back and rocked her back and forth to try and get her to calm down to talk to everyone.

"What's wrong baby girl?" I asked her and she went to say something but Arctica spoke up.

"She's just cranky I don't think she slept much last night right Zoey?" Arctica said and Zoey looked at her sister and nodded

"Y-yeah... I'm. Just sleepy." She said and I kissed her blonde hair and attempted to put her back to sleep.

"So girls how is school going?" My dad asked and Arctica smiled proudly.
