Act 18: Backstabbed

Saeko:
I finally got the chance to take a deep breath after that fight. We surrounded Shido's body as it still tried to regenerate. I guess we beat him good enough that it was going to take a while to repair the damage.
Dante: We did it.
Shizuka: Now what do we do?
Saya: He'll just regenerate again and we might not be so lucky if we have to fight him again.
Dante: Which is why I'm going to consume him.
Rei: Are you sure?
Dante: Yeah, I consume him, gain his power to control these monsters and we pretty much have them commit suicide after they wipe out the rest of the zombies in the world.
Shizuka: Sounds simple enough and I can get started working on a cure so that we can all go back to normal.
Everybody agreed with the plan and so did I accept for that last part. I didn't want to go back to normal. This power I had, I wanted to keep them for ever, I wanted to become stronger with them. If I let them consume Shido all of this would come to an end. I cant, I won't let that happen. I haven't enjoyed them enough. The only question was how do I put a stop to all of this but the answer was easy to see. I walked silently and slowly towards Dante.
Rei: Saeko are you ok?
I ignored her and continued even as they kept talking
Kohta: Takashi, Saeko seems to be acting a little strange.
Takashi: I'm sure she's fine.
Rei: She is being really silent.
I'm sure they were going to be in for a shock. As I stood behind Dante I took a deep breath. I guess I needed to make sure that I wanted to do this but I had no doubt in my mind even as I kicked Dante in his ribcage making him cringe and fall to the ground in pain.
Shizuka: Saeko what the hell!
Saeko: I won't let it end here!
I drove my hand into Shido's remains and consumed them.
Dante: Saeko don't!
I felt the power surge and course through my veins. My body was faster, stronger and now it was time to use it. I moved behind Shizuka. I was so fast that she couldn't see me until I striked her with the hilt of my blade. She flew into Rei and Saya who tried to catch her but ended up being pushed into a wall.
Takashi: Saeko why are you doing this?
Saeko: Takashi you look afraid?
Takashi: You have to stop this now!
I should've seen his reaction coming but maybe if I had time to explain myself we could move past this. So I made a cage out of spikes that were too strong for him to break. Everything was going great but I sensed something, the hostile intent of someone who wanted my head.
Dante: SAEKO!!!!
He charged at me from behind with his sawblade and tried to slash me but all I had to do was use two fingers to stop it in its tracks.
Saeko: I think it's time you all left Takashi and I
Dante: Damn you!
That look of anger on his face told me he didn't have any intention of stopping so I wrapped my hands around his stupid head and snapped his neck so bad his head turned a perfect 180 degrees.
Shizuka: Dante!!!!
As I watched his body fall to the ground looking completely lifeless I grew such a big smile and I laughed hysterically. The look of Shizuka running to his body with tears in her eyes was so amusing to me.
Saeko: Now it's time for you to leave!
Shizuka: Everyone out now!
Rei: But what about Takashi?
Takashi: I'll be fine. Just get out of here.

Takashi:
I watched as they ran away. Shizuka carried Dante out, Saya, Rei and Kohta stayed close behind and Saeko simple stood looking entertained as the ran for their lives. This wasn't the Saeko that I fell in love with. The one who I became intimate with at that shrine. It was more like that woman she said she was in her past and now it came back.
Takashi: Saeko what's gotten into you?
Saeko: Takashi don't look at me with that horrified face. You'll make ke upset.
Takashi: You just snapped our friend's neck!
Saeko: you know he'll live.
Takashi: That's not the point! Have you gone completely crazy.
Saeko: No, I'm perfectly myself but now I have power. Power that feeds my bloodlust, power that could keep me endlessly satisfied.
She walked through the cage she made for me like it was nothing as she wrapped her arms around me.
Saeko: Takashi I still love you.
Takashi: I do too but this isn't right.
Her smile turned and I was scared that I might have made her upset to a certain point but she walked away and locked me back up.
Takashi: Saeko? Saeko what are you planning on doing?
Saeko: I'm going to feast on everything this world has and no one is going to stop me.
Takashi: But what about all our friends.
Saeko: They'll probably try to stop and when they do, I'm going to kill them.
