Why was Benji acting so weird today? Is he cheating on me? No. Don't think like that Amelia. I just can't help it I told him I'm pregnant so why wouldn't he cheat. That's not like Benji though he wouldn't hurt me like that........right? I'm sure its just the whole soccer thing and leaving...I hope.

Walking into the building the cold breeze tingled my skin the air filled with a faint smell of paint and new furniture. I headed straight to my office in desperate need to get away from the toxic smell. Sitting at my desk I started organizing all the files from boxes to filing cabinets.

There was light knock at the door, "Come in."

Carla walked in with my favorite Mocha Frappuccino, she smiled cheerfully, "Good morning Miss. Bluette."

"Morning Carla," I smiled back. Carla has been my assistant for two years now after I quit my last work place to start up this business she followed me along for the ride.

"Here's your coffee just the way you like it also there's someone waiting for you in the conference room. We also need to go over your schedule for this week its pretty hectic," she listed.

"Who is it? No coffee instead tea from now on and could set up a doctors appointment please. Also have everyone unloading all these files and getting everything organized."

"I'm not sure they didn't say just that they needed to see you. When and what time would you like it scheduled?" she wondered.

"Anytime this week at three is fine, I'll be back soon."

Who could be here we haven't made client appointments yet. I walked toward the room where the stranger sat I couldn't shake off the weird feeling I was getting. I opened the door to reveal a short but well built man he had a buzz cut that looked just a week old and a faint mustache.

I reached out my hand, "Good morning I'm Amelia Bluette and you are?" I smiled.

He took my hand his grip firmly holding mine I can feel the calluses on his hand, "Good morning Miss Bluette, I'm Ted," he answered smiling, he didn't look like the type that smiled much.

   I smirked, "Just Ted?"

He chuckled, " Yes, just Ted I prefer Ted rather than my last name."

"Well just Ted what can I do for you," I gestured for him to take a seat again as I sat across from him.

"Amelia, can I call you Amelia?"

"Sure if it makes you more comfortable," I smiled. There's something about him that makes me feel safe but cautious.

"I have this friend actually no lets call him an acquaintance I have this acquaintance that has a situation and lets just say I'm handling it," he explained.

"Excuse me," I said confused. I watched as he leaned forward placing his hands on the table his expression turning serious.

"My job requires me to solve problems and this acquaintance has a problem I need to handle while my friend handles that acquaintance."
