This happened on December 7th, 2015 people just to help you all out.

Anyways, I have Science 6th Period which is the last Period of the day. We switched classes last Thursday with Mr. Orion's class because they're classroom is much larger then ours.

So we were doing an experiment were you need to mix sulfur with iron over a Bunsen Burner so you pretty much had to make sure you didn't get your whole hand burned off. Then after we filled out this boring worksheet explaining what we did.

After that, my teacher, Mrs. Smith said that for all the kids who got 100% on a few worksheets we did before got to do a Candy Cane Lab. That is pretty much where we just got a glass tube and made it into a candy cane. So of course, I got 100% on all of these worksheets and decided to make myself a candy cane.

Racing to get to a Bunsen Burner (because a couple of people all decided to this lab) I managed to get one and turned it on.

Pretty much all you had to do was take a glass tube, stick it into the hottest part of the flame and roll it around and then lightly stamp it down on a stirring stick to get the end of the candy cane. That I managed to do fine.

But, the tricky part was to bend it to the perfect length without burning yourself or dropping the candy cane. I was so afraid of getting burned (I have a irrational fear of fire) that I stopped in the middle of the project and my candy cane just looked horrible. Instead of it being a candy cane, it was a number seven.

I decided to stop there because it was towards the end of class. I goofed around with my friends for a bit and then class was over.

On Friday, I didn't attend because I wasn't feeling very good so I decided to stay home, watch Pretty Little Liars, and drink Ginger Ale and eat Ice Cream.

Flash forward to the date I wrote up above here. New week for science, going over what we're doing this week.

My teacher then grabs the bucket that happens to hold a bunch of candy canes that students work on.

First, she showed off a bunch of ones which pretty much everyone oohed and awed over how fascinating they looked.

Then, to the horror she showed mine to the whole class. My cheeks flushed a deep red and then what she said made it even worse. "This one could use a bit of work because it had a lack of originality."

An an annoying girl up front named Alison is then like, "Sloane," but thankfully no one heard her.

Later on during the period, Mrs. Smith showed them off again. I didn't notice because I was typing away on my phone. A girl who's sits behind me is then like, "Sloane."

I originally thought that everyone could hear what she said so I'm all like, "Gee thanks."

But, Mrs. Smith looked at me and said, in front of the whole freaking class, "It's okay Sloane not everyone has great artistic skills."

Everyone freakin stopped what they were doing and stared back at me. My friend Diana is then all like, "It's okay Sloane not everyone can be perfect at art."

What even bro.

My parents run a frickin art company and my Mom teaches art to me. I've taken so many art lessons and My Art Book on here has gotten more then 1,000 views with lots of positive comments.

Just because I mess up on one thing doesn't necessarily mean that I'm bad at art. In fact, in my Art class in school I have an A as of now.

My speciality in art comes in drawing because I'm good with the little details that most people don't manage to see, but they notice it when they see my artwork. In 4th grade, I got 2nd Place in an Art Show at my Elementary School, which I made a dolphin and a really cool background for it.

Plus, I recently made a project, where my Mom photographed me as an alter ego version of myself. Then I got a giant canvas and glued that picture on there, and painted around it and made an awesome background with it.

So anyways, people shouldn't make judgements based on the first thing they see. What's that called again. Oh yeah, stereotyping. There is way to much of that in the world today. From nerds, jocks, white girls, and people of different races, this world is making so many false accusations about each other that it makes me sick to my stomach just to think about it.

I know this is only a small scale version of stereotyping, but it's still a version of one.

Thank you for taking the time to read my 2nd rant and feel free to share and comment your thoughts!
