(Tara's P.O.V) I have to get the police before she figures it out, and gets there before me. I ran out of the school building as fast as I could and into my sister's car, hurriedly saying, "I need you to drive me to the police station, NOW!" "Umm why?" She asked in confusion, "JUST DO IT!" She flinched, "Ok fine whatever, i'll take you." She started the car and drove out of the parking lot really slowly. I was running my fingers through my hair, hands shaking with anxiety. "Drive faster!" I exclaimed, but she refused, "Tara I'll get pulled over if I do." "This is a matter of people's lives!" I screamed in frustration. She still didn't change her speed, most likely thinking I am exaggerating. Suddenly my phone started to ring, and I prayed to God it wasn't her. With shaking hands, I answered, "hello?" The voice that replied on the other end of the line made my blood run cold. "Hi Tara." She said in a sickly sweet voice. Trying not to stutter, I replied, "H-hey Sam. What's up?" Hoping she doesn't suspect anything, "~Nothing much~, I was just wondering where you went. You left the rehearsals so fast, I didn't even see you go." My heart raced. "Y-yeah I had something to do right after drama and had to leave quickly." I answered.
My sister pulled into the police station's parking lot. "Hey, Sam I gotta go." and quickly hung up the phone. I got out of the car and ran towards the station, but before I could reach the door, someone grabbed my arm and twisted me around to see them. When they did, I saw Sam gripping my arm. "Hey Sam." I said, my heart just dropped. How could she know! "What are you doing here?" I asked. She looked at me with a smile, her eyes deadly. "~I had a feeling you would come here~. Do you just happen to remember what I told you at school." I nodded. "Good." She dragged me away from the building and shoved me in the direction of the car, giving a friendly wave afterward. "~Bye Tara~" I got in the car and my sister asked, "What was that about?" I shook my head and said "Nothing. Let's just go home." "Are you sure? You seemed scared." I shook my head again and said, "I'm fine, just go." She nodded and started the car.
(at home) I ran into my house and to my room. I went to pull my phone out of my pocket but it was missing. Where is my phone? I looked through my stuff but couldn't find it. "Where is my phone?!" A thought came to me, "Did Sam take it back at the police station? She must have!" I can't believe she took it. I have to get it back somehow. I mean, I can't just ask for my phone back, she would never just hand it over to me. I guess I would have to steal it back from her but how can I... I know! At drama, when she's on stage, I'll go through her stuff, find it, and take it back.
(next day at practice) I waited until Sam had to go on stage. Once she went on stage I ran over to her stuff, and started to go through her bag. After a few minutes I found my phone and quickly put it with my stuff. Then quickly sat down and went through practice like nothing happened. When we stopped for a break I tried to keep my distance from Sam. Which was hard because the drama building isn't very big to start with. I did everything I could think of... going to the bathroom...buuut I can't hide in there forever, run backstage...aaand she followed, walked around the room in the opposite direction....SURPRISE, she followed like a lost puppy. No matter what I did, I couldn't get away from her. I sighed and turned to face her. "Do you need something Sam?" She didn't say a word, all she did was stare at me. Again, I spoke, "What the hell do you want, Sam?!" I was either annoyed or petrified. Probably the ladder. "I saw what you did." She said. "If you call the police. I gut you, like I did to that woman in the alley, a while back." Sam secretly held one of her knives to my stomach. I grabbed her hand, the hand with the knife, and looked her in the eye. "I don't care anymore Sam." I whispered forcefully. "Go ahead, kill me, slice me to smithereens, or stab me to death. It won't matter. But I want you to know something. Before I draw my last breath, I will have shouted to the world who you are and what you have done. My death will simply be the last kill you make before the police find you and either kill you, or throw you into jail." I started to push the knife into my stomach, and just before i could actually wound myself, she pulled it away looking a little bored. "No, not here." And she walked away sliding the knife into her left boot while tucking her pants over both of them. My adrenalin was racing. WHY THE HELL DID I SAY THAT!!! It doesn't matter anymore. The truth will come out and I will take her down, even if I have to die to do it. I will do whatever it takes.
