The story of the goddes Aurea

One July evening when the sky was turned pink by the sun grazing the meeting place of the sky and the land a beautiful peasant girl was born. Her and her proud mother lived in the village of Rubith. The daughter was named Aurea because she showed much resemblance of the goddess Rea, but this girl had golden hair ( AU=gold). Aurea's mother knew that Zeus was Aurea's father, but she never told Aurea or Zeus about each other.

By the time Aurea was 5 years of age she had about 50 necklaces because she could spin gold by just using her finger tips. Since Aurea was just a child and did not see why this was abnormal.

At the age of 10 Aurea began studying the Ancient Greek gods in school. She loved studying them, but the down side to those lessons was that because of her name other kids made fun of her. All of kids except for the other outcasts which she wasn't friends with. The only thing that really hurt about the teasing was that the main teaser of the group was Lacy Meyers.

Lacy and Aurea were the best of friends between the ages of 5 and 9. Last year was the year that their friendship ended, the toughest year of Aurea's life. Lacy had finally been allowed to hang out with the popular people and she of course jumped at the opportunity and didn't realize that she would be leaving behind Aurea.
