It had been a week since the Ethan situation, I spent 2 years with that guy only for it all to be wasted. He had apologized and begged for another chance but I wasn't giving him one. I was staring blankly at the board in 1st period as Someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Matthew. "Hey um, do you wanna be my partner" he said shyly. "Sure" i smiled genuinely. He seemed like a nice guy. We had to do a speech about a historical event that was "inspirational" to us. We had a week to do it. "So, mine after school" I said to him. "Sure" he smiled.
