2:00 am thoughts

My eyes look at the sky
In the dark, cold night
where only the stars shine
for you in the darkness
And I can't sleep
because of you.
Even if I can't reach you,
I'll keep trying
No matter how much I run,
fighting for our love.
And I'll be okay
even if I fall down and get hurt,
I will find a way to fly.

You make me wide awake
I'm not afraid.
Not anymore.

why? Why do we
have to be this way?
But, sometimes I know
change is the best
Even if I can't live without you
I'm nobody, killing time
Memories that we held
are slowly crumbling up,
burning into ashes
As I'm wondering in my dreams,

As I watch the bright,
glowing lights
in front on me
on this urban city
make me and you
further away from each other,
although my heart
will always be next to you.
