ch-10(midnight meal)

Jay..may I come in.I asked knocking at his door.he didn't replied me so I moved inside.He was looking like he just came from the shower..his hair was wet and few droplets fell on his shoulder..he was combing his hair humming some song unaware of my presence.I placed the tray on the table and was about to move when something caught my eyes.few photos were placed on the center table.It was a kid photographs in various poses.bacche ki photo jay ke pass...I asked myself..I took one photo and hide it inside my trouser pocket.
Ummm..thanks for it..jay said from my back.
I quickly turned back.
Thanks..I said calming myself.I was literally breathing fast thinking that jay caught me stealing the photograph.
By the way how do you know that I am hungry..jay asked me shoving his mouth with food.
It's your old habbit jay....to eat at midnight.I said glancing at him.
In return he just smiled and again lost himself in the plate.
But inside my mind something other was moving.
Jay....this phot....but I get interuppted by my call.
It was from the hospital.
I quickly took the call crossing my fingure that everything would be fine there.

What news doctor...is everything fine there na..reema aunty is she..is she okk doctor..I said panickly.
Seeing me like thus jay stood beside me holding my hands.patting my shoulder.
Ms.meera today reema jii tried to move her fingures...it is a good sign.she will be soon recovered from coma.you will come tomorrow to meet her.if possible bring Mr.jay also.as it can't be possible without him too..doctor said and call get disconnected.
Tears fell from my eyes.I didn't understand how to react.I was smiling and crying at the same time.my joy knew no bounds.
Jay shook me..meera u okk..he said terrified.
I took his hand on mine and said him whatever doctor told me.
He hugged me immidiately.
Ohh..meera..u don't know from how much time I was waiting to listen this...I am soo happy today.
I felt something cold in my shoulder.it was nothing but jay's tears.he was crying hugging me.
I don't know how much time we spent in that position.
Jay...sshhh..its okk..I rubbed his back to calm him.
But he more tight his grip and dig his head in the crook of my neck.
I felt his warm tears rolling from my neck to my back.
Jay....I said softly.
It's okk..she will be fine soon.I wishpered in his ears.I was continueosly rubbing his back to make him feel comfortable.after shedding all his tears he get himself aparted from me.now we were standing in front of each other looking into each other eyes finding something that were lost that we forgotten years back.our tears filled eyes didnt want to look anywhere but into each other eyes only.
One hour before
I came into my room wondering what jay was doing in the kitchen at this time.then I realise that it is his old habbit of eating at midnight.I went to go outside to check what is he doing in the kitchen but I didn't found him anywhere.so I thought of cooking something for him as I know he didn't sleep whole night with his empty stomach.
