The mark...

I began to look around to see if I could find anything. After hours of searching outside of this place, I didn't find what we was looking for, however I did find Kitty.

I had a lot of questions for her. She was sitting next to a Big Oak tree.

I sat beside her. She looked at me and smiled.

"I know who you really are. Can you keep a secret?" she asked.

"Yeah but you need to promise that you keep our identities a secret, for now anyways," I said.

"Don't worry about it. I am on your side anyway. Truth is I don't like this Circus. I just like the children and making them happy is our main priority. Father was happy when he got new children, but this circus is only to entertain people," she said.

I looked down to see no mark. I could've sworn she had one. Last night it was exactly like mine.

"I have a statement about something I saw the night of our meeting," I said, "You had a branding iron mark on this specific side of your rib cage last night."

"It was pretty late and it was dark. It was probably a shadow of something," she said standing up.

"I hope to talk to you later, I have training."

I waved her off. "I know that this circus is hiding something. I have to keep this to myself until I figure out a little bit more information."

I got up from my sitting area as I heard the training whistle sound.
