Chapter 2

You get into chemistry with Cassandra and everyone seems to be staring at her. Ms. Marvis turns around and smiles at her. "Ok class I would like to introduce Cassandra Revon. She will be a part of our class from now on." You hear a wolf whistle and both you and Ms. Marvis glare at the students.

"Ok, Cassandra how about you sit in the back with Maxine since you two are acquainted." Cassandra nods and the both of you walk to two empty chairs sitting in the corner. You slide into last one and she slides in the desk beside you. "Now everyone open your chemistry books to page ten, chapter 1 section 1, periodic combinations."

After that you blocked out Ms. Marvis' voice and peek at Cassandra. She is quickly writing something down in her note book, which is strange because you don't have anything important to write down yet. Your thoughts are interrupted when a folded up piece of paper lands on your table.

You look at Cassandra and she looks at the paper. You pick it up and slowly open it. "It was nice to meet you and I hope that I will be invited to sit with you at lunch." You look at her and quickly nod your head. She smiles and nods at the paper. You read the rest and almost choke on your spit.

"Your eyes are beautiful." You blush and bury your face in your arms. You hear a tiny chuckle to your left and you know that she's enjoying it. "Maxine will you please pay attention to me and not the desk."

You would usually flip her off, but you would rather sit with Cassandra than with the old, fat secretary that sits in the office read magazines and sweating something that smells like old Cheetos and garlic. So you open your book and look ahead.

You get out of class and Cassandra follows you to your lockers. "So what class do you have next?," you ask and she pulls out the schedule from her right pocket. "I have art and you?" You kind of deflate. You have geometry next hour. "No got geometry looks like I won't have class with you till...," you look at her paper,"After lunch" She frowns and you hope that in some way that she is disappointed that you will not be in class with her.

"Don't worry I will have one of my friends look after you so you can get to class on time." She bears a big grin and wraps her arms around you. You stiffen, but cautiously hug her back.

You hear a wolf whistle again, but this time it is beside you. "Ok Max, now give her a little kiss." You let go of Cassandra and glare at the direction of that slimy voice. Danner Wilson looks at you with lust in his eyes and a smirk planted on his thin lips. "Hey perv back off and go watch a girl in short shorts bend over." His smirk grows and he looks back at his friends. "Hey guys it looks like Maxy found a new pair of legs. What about Layla, are you still banging her sweet ass?"

You grit you teeth and shift to stand in front of Cassandra. "The pairs of legs you are drooling over are connected to my friend Cassandra and no Layla moved over the summer." "That's too bad I was gonna bang her, at least there's someone else I can satisfy myself with."

You step forward and tighten your already clenched fists. "Stay the hell away from her you perverted cock sucker!" Her glares at you and steps forward, his friend steps forward as well. "What are you gonna do kick me in the leg? Now move over so I can get to know your friend better."

Danner tries to step around and sticks out his hand, then you immediately know what he is going for, he does it with every girl. You grab his arm, pull it behind his back, and kick at his legs. Danner hits the ground hard. You keep his arm in place and put your lips to his right ear. "Keep your nasty hands off my friend's ass or I'll break your arm!"

You pull his arm up and he screams. "Ok ok I won't touch her I promise!" You let go of his arm and stand, but before you leave you land your left biker boot to his side. As you turn around to walk off with a cocky grin on your face, you bump into the principal, Mr. Marson.

"Office now!" He yells and you roll your eyes, but walk off to the office anyway. You may be stuck in the office and you don't get to have lunch with Cassandra, but it was so worth it when you look back and see Danner moaning in pain as his friends pick him up and you see Cassandra wearing the biggest grin you have ever seen.
