Chapter 1

I sighed heavily as i made my way through the back alleys. Normally i wouldn't take this way but lord knows i'm tired and i don't feel like taking the long way. My cars been in the shop for about a week. Hopefully it gets fixed soon because this whole walking thing just isn't going to work.

As i turned the corner i spotted what looked to be three men rough housing. I grimaced groaning quietly . They seemed rowdy tonight ..maybe i should turn around. I nibble on my lips in hesitation before turning back the way i came but by then it was too late .They had noticed me.

"hey baby! how you doin' ? "

"Damn you cute ,mami ..how bout to come back and let me see more of you?"

"shiit if you seeing more man,so am i she's one hot piece of ass"  

I picked up my speed as i realized they were following me .

"Shit !," My fast walk turned into jog which turned into a run. 

"aww baby ..don't be like that..lets have a little fun!" 

I panicked as i realized they were a lot closer than i thought. 

I dipped into a side alley and hide behind the dumpster covering my mouth hoping that my breathing wasn't audible.

" Damn where'd the bitch go? i wanted some action tonight"

I closed my eyes and tucked myself into a ball trying to disappear. 

Something wet touched my cheek and i opened my eyes slightly to see a puppy. 

The dog whimpered and my eyes widened in alarm.

"aye man you hear that?"

"hear what?"

"..nothing ..nev--"

He stopped mid sentence as the  dog started to bark wildly. 

My eyes pleaded with him to be quiet but i guess the damn dog didn't give a damn .

I heard their shuffling footsteps come closer and in that moment i wish i could perform magic and become invisible.

" ohhh look what we found here? "

I looked up and smiled sheepishly," hi."

The three men surrounded me with cruel smiles and i almost peed my damn pants. 

I stood up slowly and smiled widely at them before slipping around them walking backwards," its been a pleasure to meet you gentlemen but i'm really late ..my fiancee will be freaking out"

They laughed loudly and fear blooms in the pit of my stomach and i turned on my heel quickly preparing to run but i'm yanked back harshly by my hair.

" no not so fast baby doll...i want you to play with us "

I struggled against his grip on my hair," i don't wanna play dammit.let go"

The man looked at his companions grinning enjoying my struggle," oo a spitfire..i love it"

I glared at him and before i knew what i was doing i spit in his face. 

The man slowly closed his eyes and wiped the offending liquid away from his face. When he reopened his eyes they were burning with fury. 

He jerked me upward by my hair before backhanding me across my face. i bit my tongue causing blood to fill my mouth.

He threw me to one of his friends and his lip turned up into a smile," lets have some fun"

I felt his friends hesitate," hey...your a little to angry right now Mark...we wanna have fun not hurt her."

So his name was Mark..huh..

I smiled in what i thought was a charming way," Yea mark...you don't wanna hurt me ..really...i'm sorry for spitting on you..i was afraid."

Marks nostrils flared," if your so worried about her Dom then just leave her to me..Stephen you go too...bunch of pussies."

The one called Dom let go of me and turned to walk away .I quickly grabbed his wrist and squeezed tightly," please..."

Dom shook his head and snatched his wrist from my hand before grabbing Stephen by the back of this shirt," lets go"

 As they turned the corner leaving me alone with Mark ,my eyes teared up .

Mark smiled and stepped forward grabbing me by my shoulders shaking me so violently and with so much force i thought my head would fall off. He kicked my legs from under me and pushed me hard causing me to fall back into the brick wall banging my head .I sunk to the ground limply . i could feel the warm substance flowing from my head and down my tear streaked cheeks . I reached up to touch my face and i looked at my hand.

blood...i was bleeding. 

Mark dragged me into a standing position by my hair and started to drive his meaty fist into my core over and over and over .  

After a while i couldn't scream ..i couldn't even whimper. 

The pain was overwhelming. 

Suddenly i felt a sharp pain shoot along my side and i look down with wide eyes to see a knife sticking out of my side . I looked up at mark as blood bubbled from my lips leaking out from the corner of my mouth .

Mark smiled cruelly before sending a hard kick to my ribs causing me to collapse on the hard cement. 

My body screamed for him to stop as i curled into a ball trying to protect myself. He kicked me over and over again..sometimes my head ...but most often where the knife was still protruding from my belly.

"Bitch"

My eyes drifted shut and i go limp . 

"What the hell are you doing?!? hey!!" I heard an unfamiliar voice as i started to lose consciousness. 

"fuck" I heard marks panicked voice before his hurried footsteps.

Even though i was in pain relief washed over me . He's gone...good. I could hear my own heartbeat in my ears and strangely ..it was soothing.. it was steady....

thud.thud.thud.

I smiled as the pain started to dull...thats good...no more pain...

I heard loud voices but i could barely make out the words

I struggled until i lost consciousness completely.
