Aislin ran through the halls of the enemy base. She dashed behind a wall, her heart racing as she did so. The patrols looking for her ran past obliviously. Aislin sat down on the silvery metal floor. She adjusted her combat boots and aviator glasses. The small communicator in her ear buzzed. It was Sergeant Miles. "Did you download all the data from the supercomputer?" he questioned. "No Hello Aislin, how was the mission? Are you hurt? Do you feel all right? But NOOOooOOOooo. I don't get any credit." She could practically hear him roll his eyes. "I did. For a super high tech enemy, they do not know any secure passwords." she said with a smirk. "Good. We will send a helicopter. Any chance you can get to the roof in under 20 minutes?" Miles responded. "I can try." As soon as Aislin responded, the comm. cut out. She analyzed her surroundings. There was an airshaft about 5 feet above her, and from what she could tell, it led to the roof. Just to make sure, she tapped her bracelet. A blueprint of the floor she was on showed up. She quietly spoke into the microphone, "Airshafts." The map of airshafts popped up. She stood from her seat on the floor, and pulled something from her belt. "GRAPPLING HOOK!" Aislin whisper-yelled to herself. She aimed at the vent cover and pulled the trigger. The hook hit, and she pulled down. The cover popped off, and she aimed and shot once again, but this time pulling herself up. Aislin crawled through the vents. God, she thought. This place is so dang dusty? And did I just see a rat? EW! A few minutes later, she finally saw moonlight. She flipped onto her back, and kicked it open. She flipped over again, and wriggled through the opening. The helicopter was waiting for her. She bent down, and walked over to the doors. They opened, and she climbed in. Inside, her best friend Witt was sitting there with a goofy smile. "Congrats. You have succeeded in retrieving the crap. Job well done." "Shut your pie hole, Witt. I'll have you know that this was a very important mission." Aislin retorted. Witt laughed. Aislin laughed. "Now, If you'll excuse me, I am going to sleep the rest of the way home. Good night." She took a "shock blanket" from the wall. Aislin got comfortable, and fell into a dreamless sleep, leaning on someone in the process.****************************************************************************************************
