Ryan snuck out to kick the ball again, I had to carry her back to the house. "Who is mom's boyfriend," I quickly ask. She shakes her head,"not sure." My phone starts buzzing and it's Carli. "Hey, it's it okay if I come over? I'm in the area today." "Yeah that's fine," I say. Ryan fell asleep on the couch as Carli came in. "What's wrong with Ryan?" Carli asks. "A knife fell and got her in the leg, she keeps trying to practice soccer," I say. I hear a knock on the door, I open it and it's a boy, he looks about 15. "I'm Josh, is Ryan here?" He asks. "In her room," I say letting him in.
Ryan's POV
I was sitting in my room watching hockey and josh walks in. "Hey, who is winning?" He asks. "Wild are of course," I says. "What happened to your leg?" He asks. "She did it," I say quietly. "She's back?" Josh says getting angry. "She came in this morning and ran out as fast as she did it," I mumble. "Did you tell Alex?" He asks. "No and I'm not going to," I say.
