~The Proof~

Laurence's P.O.V.

It was still early afternoon on the beach, as Garroth and I went to go meet up with the others. I had kinda wanted to go swimming to move around a bit after being stuck in the car, and Garroth had said he wanted to as well. I just wanted to see what they had planned before I went off and had some free time.

We walked around to Aphmau's little hut-house, and knocked on the door. I heard her fumbling around with the door before it was opened. I was surprised to see that Katelyn was there instead of Aphmau.

"Well isn't it the two little lover boys, huh? Whatcha need?" She said, smirking.

I saw Garroth's blush out of the corner of my eye, obviously embarrassed by Katelyn's greeting.

"We were just wondering if you guys had anything planned? Garroth and I wanted to go swimming for a bit maybe. D'you want to come?" I said, sparing Garroth from making himself look like a blushing fool.

She smiled, "Naw, we don't have anything planned for this afternoon. I'd like to go swimming with you guys, yeah. Sounds like fun."

She paused, looking back into the hut, yelling, "Hey, Aph! Wanna go swimming with the Larroth pair?"

Hehe. Larroth pair...

"Sure! Sounds good," Aphmau responded from inside the hut.

Katelyn turned back to us. "So, we'll be there in ten minutes. See you two then!"

She closed the door and we went off to ask Dante.

*Time skip to everyone's meet up on the beach*

"Heyo!" Aphmau called from behind us.

Garroth and I had gotten everyone to come swimming, even though I was pretty sure they'd just lounge around on the sand. Katelyn arrived with Aphmau along with a few brightly colored towels and two beach umbrellas.

I saw Dante trailing behind them, carrying a few buckets and shovels. I mean, what did you expect from him?

We layed out the towels and stuck the umbrella in the sand, all eager to just jump in the ocean.

"So... what going on with you two?" Katelyn asked.

Everyone had apparently gathered around Garroth and I, and I guessed they were all hungry for answers. I mean, they all already know about what happened in the woods, heck, Aphmau and Katelyn watched us kiss. But they want to know more.

"I-I mean we... I d-don't know..." Garroth said beside me, sounding like he was pretty uncomfortable.

"We just want to know what's going on. Don't we deserve answers? If you guys are actually a thing, you'd better tell us," Katelyn said, a kind of strictness in her voice.

I decided to answer this time. "I-I... I guess we are... yeah." Heh. Not much better than Garroth's nice studder speech.

"Prove it." Aphmau dared. I could take a hint.

Garroth could too. "You w-want us t-to... k-k-kiss?"

"...Well, pretty much." Aphmau said, that smug smile on her face again.

I felt Garroth shift beside me on the sand. He was really secretive about everything, and honestly I wouldn't mind if he was uncomfortable kissing me in front of them.
...even though a kiss would be nice.

"Uh, f-fine. O-o-okay," Garroth studdered.

Wait, what?

I could see the looks only a pure shipper can create, Aphmau and Katelyn beaming while their eyes sparkled crazily. Dante was sitting there, looking quite pleased with himself. Feeling myself start to blush, I let my hair fall in my face. What did Garroth just agree to.

He turned towards me, and I could see the deep red blush creeping up on his face too.

"Hi." I mumbled, trying to break the awkwardness up.

He chuckled a tiny bit and replied, "Hey."

With that I leaned forwards and felt my lips touch his. I forgot about the others, forgot about the beach, forgot the fact that someone probably had their phone out. I loved Garroth with all my heart, and I didn't want to have to hide it anymore. I just wanted to be with him.

"Ahem."

We both broke away, realizing that we needed to breathe. I turned towards the direction of the voice and saw Dante there, obviously very amused. "Well, guess I believe you two then."

Katelyn was furious. "Y U RUIN MAH LARROTH KISS DANTE," she yelled. If anyone was around, I swear, Garroth would've strangled her.
