I waited 10 more minutes until it was officially an hour since we were in the airport. I groaned. "This is taking forever..." I complained to my mom. "Where almost done, sweetheart." My mom replied. She sat next to me and lightly squeezed my arm. "So are you excited for meeting new people?" She smiled. I just rolled my eyes at her. I told her "yes." But I honestly wasn't. Somewhere in my head is telling me too run, but it's not an option. Finally the administration was done, and we could pass through the gates. My dad pulled out a couple dollars, and we walked up to the closest taxi. Hey payed and we got in. We were driving to our new apartment, until my dad can find a house we can move into for good. When we got to the apartments And I just looked around. Here we go. "Piper! Honey come here!" I ran up too my mom. I kinda got distracted by the modern decorations that made the front desk, so calming. Oh and did I mention how much i HATE my name? It sounds so unsanitary. Like seriously? It sounds like a metal pipe that's under your sink with mildew stains. Anyways, I just really want to move in. My feet were killing me and I just wanted to eat a good lunch, take a hot shower, and soak up in bed. I just want this day to finally completely end.
