Baby Lucy

Chapter 2

Natsu P.O.V
As Lucy stayed asleep peacefully in my arms, Levy giggled and watched. I could feel Lucy snuggle closer to me, so I wrapped my scarf around her. I could here her snore very lightly which made me blush.
"You snore like a baby grizzly." I said to her smiling. I felt her stir in my arms as she woke up. She pulled back and looked at me.
"P-Papa?" She said rubbing her eyes and I smiled at her.
"Hi Lucy." I said and then she giggled.
"Can we pway?" She asked and I nodded.
"Sure. What do you wanna play with?" I asked and she looked around the room until her eyes landed on a small pink bunny stuffed animal. She pointed to it and squirmed in my arms. I put her in the floor and she walked over to the bunny. She picked it up and squeezed the animal.
"Fluffy! Fluffy!" She said and hugged the stuffed bunny.
"Auntie! Auntie looks!!" Lucy said lifting the bunny in the air up to Levy.
"Yea. Its a bunny." Levy said picking up Lucy and playing with the bunny with her.
"Bunny! Bunny!" Lucy giggled.
"Go play with Bunny OK?" Levy said putting Lucy down then she ran off.
"Shes so cute." I mumbled as me and Levy both sat down on Lucy's couch. We had a small conversation. Me and Levy heard a big bang and then a crash and we both shot up from the sofa. Then we heard Lucy crying really hard. I ran in the direction of the cries and seen Lucy laying on the ground crying and she was holding her elbow. Her bunny was on the bed, then I put 2 and 2 together. She must have tried to get on the bed and fell backwards. I picked her up as she put her hands to her face and continued to cry.
"Hey shh~" I said rocking her back and forth. She calmed down a little but not that much.
"Here point to where it hurts." She pointed to her left elbow and I looked at Levy. She just shrugged.
"Papa!!" She yelled still crying. I didn't know what to do so I put my chin on top of her head and rocked her as I supported her by her bottom.
"Papa, my ewboe hwrts." Lucy said sniffling.
"I know, I know it hurts sweetie." I said and then thought for a moment. WHY DID I SAY SWEETIE?! But.. It felt kinda... Natural. Like a father daughter thing y'know.
"Hey Natsu, make sure she's not bleeding OK?" Levy whispered to me and I nodded. All Lucy was wearing right now was a long sleeve pink shirt that was way to big for her, it went down to her feet. I sat down on Lucy's bed and put her in my lap while she sniffles. I grab the arm that she said hurt and lifted the huge sleeve. It was bleeding, but its not like gushing or anything. Just a scratch.
"Shes-" I started to say but Levy cut me off and started to signal me to cover Lucy's ears. I did, and Lucy looked confused.
"What?" I said and looked back at Levy.
"If she is, don't tell her because kids have a tendency to cry more when they know their bleeding." She explained and I nodded. No, I don't understand the reason for it but I'd rather not make her explain it.
"So, is she?" Levy asked and I nodded.
"Nothing bad though, just a little scratch." I said and she nodded.
"Should we just leave it?" I asked and she nodded.
"PAPA! I CANT HEWR YOU!!" Lucy yelled in my arms and I laughed a little. I took my hands off her ears and apologized.
"Sorry Luce." I said and she smiled.
"Its OK Papa." She said.
(A/N you know when Lucy said that about the rice ball thing to her dad. She was so kawaii!! Anyways)
Levy looked at the time.
"Dinner time! What should I make?" Levy asked and I already knew what I wanted.
"Spicy chicken!!" I said and Levy shook her head.
"Can we have chicken sandwiches? I'll make yours with spicy chicken?" She asked and I nodded.
~After making the sandwiches ~
Levy handed Lucy a smaller sandwich and handed me mine. We were all sitting at the coffee table, Lucy next to me and Levy on the other side of the table. I seen Lucy staring at me after I took a bite of mine out of the corner of my eye. She was tilting her head to the side like a dog and a finger on her lips.
I turned to her and looked at her.
"What?" I asked and she reached for my sandwich.
"I wanna have the same as Papa!" She said and Levy shook her head.
"That one is spicy. You might not like it." Levy said but Lucy already made up her mind.
"It won't hurt her." I said and gave Lucy my sandwich. She took a bite then looked at me.
"Its good." She said smiling.

I laughed at her a little and we just ate our dinner like a.....
