Mark's POV:
Once we were inside the gates, Amanda stopped in front of the door. "Why are we stopping?" I asked even though my voice was shaky. She looked at me and said "Don't freak out. Okay?" "Of course!" I had no idea what she was going to do. She smiled at me and lifted up her hand. Suddenly, I felt a gust of wind blow through me. It opened the doors of their house. I gasped. "Come on. Grandma's waiting for you." I found her Grandma sitting in a chair. There were 2 chairs next to her. Amanda took a seat on the chair nearest to her Grandma. I was lucky. I took a seat next to Amanda. She looked at me. She looked worried. Her grandma started to talk. "Mark, you are not in trouble. Do not fear." I got even more nervous when she said that. "Amanda, go and pack your things. You will be leaving by dawn." Amanda nodded and went upstairs. Unable to keep to myself, I said aloud "Where's Amanda going?" Her grandma looked at me with sad eyes. "She will be going to Camp Half- blood with you." I couldn't believe my ears. "What?!?! Lady, are you crazy?!?!" "No. I am not crazy Mark. I am simply telling the truth. Ask Amanda. You are a demigod, Mark. A son of great god indeed. Now, you need to go to Amanda's room to help her pack. I will explain everything to your mother." She told me where her room is. She then stood up then left the room. "Oh and one last thing Mark." She hurried towards me and gave me a ring. "You'll need it soon." She winked then left hurriedly. I was left sitting there with a ring in my hand.
