Chapter 6: Trouble

QUICK A/N: this is mostly just a fluff chapter, so sorry. my inspiration fountain is running a little low...this is why...I WOULD REALLY LIKE IT IF YA'LL COULD MAYBE LEAVE SOME COMMENTS...sorry for the little rant. okay, i'm gonna shut up now and let you read.

After my little incident with Jane, Slenderman made sure that Toby took me out of the mansion when she was there to keep that from happening again. And because of that, Toby and I have been getting closer and closer everyday over the past few weeks. We would mostly go on walks in the woods, but every now and again, Toby would take me into town to just walk around, looking around is the stores and stuff. 

On one particular day, Toby seemed a little more twitchy than normal, and he was stuttering a little more than normal. "H-Hey, Camryn. C-C-Can I a-ask you s-someth-thing?" he asked me as we were walking through the woods towards the mansion. Slender had sent Toby a telepathic message, saying that Jane had left. "Yeah. You know that you can ask me anything," I replied, looking over at him. 

"Okay. Ju-Just d-don't p-p-punch m-me f-f-f-for this, o-o-o-o-okay?" he said. I nodded, suddenly becoming skeptical as to what he had to ask. Toby took a deep breath, stopped in his tracks, turned to me, grabbed my shoulders, and pulled me to him where he crashed his mouth to mine. Toby kissed me forcefully, but yet gently. He wrapped one of his gloved hands around the back of my neck, and the other one went around my waist, making escape impossible (as if I'd ever run from him). (a/n: how adorable!!!) I threw my arms around Toby's neck, pulling myself closer to him, and Toby's grip on my waist tightened. I felt Toby's tongue brush my bottom lip, asking for entrance into my mouth, but instead of granting him access, I nibbled on his bottom lip, which scored me a moan from him.

Suddenly, Toby bit my bottom lip (not hard enough to draw blood, but hard all the same), which caused me to gasp in surprise; then, I felt Toby's tongue enter my mouth. I felt his tongue brush mine gently, and I gasped again. Toby chuckled, then continued to kiss me.

When Toby finally pulled back, we were both breathing heavily. I laid my forehead against his, closed my eyes and sighed in contentment. "C-Camryn?" Toby whispered. "Hmm?" I hummed, opening my eyes to look at him. "Um, a-about what I-I wanted to a-ask you...um, would you mind being m-m-my g-girlf-friend?"

I was a bit shocked at first, but then I just grinned. "Of course! I would love to be your girlfriend!" I exclaimed. Toby grinned back at me, and then kissed me again.

Suddenly, the sound of someone clapping rang through the air, and Toby and I broke apart, looking around to find the source of the sound. There, leaning with her back against a tree trunk, was none other than Jane (speak of the devil, and the devil shall appear). "Wow. Great PDA guys. Really, it was. Too bad that it won't be happening again," she said as she stood up straight and started walking towards us, her long skirts flowing out behind her like a 3-D shadow.

"And, why would that be exactly?" I asked her, stepping slightly away from Toby and towards her, but he grabbed my arm and kept me from going more than two steps away from him. "Why? Because; you and I have some unfinished business to take care of," she replied, stopping about three meters away from me. "And that would be what exactly? Because, if I recall correctly, I kicked your arse a couple of weeks ago," I said, smirking.

Jane growled lowly at me. "Our unfinished business is me killing you already. And there's no one here to protect you now," she said, chuckling darkly. "That's where you're wrong," Toby said-not once stuttering-as he came to stand beside me, hatchets in hand. Jane growled again. "We'll see about that," she mumbled, and then lunged at me.
