I'm Waiting...
I'm waiting for the summer,
To lay in golden sun,
That hugs the Florida tree leaves,
A place that's never glum,
I'm waiting for graduation,
To toss my cap into the air,
To whisk me away onto the path,
Where hopes and dreams are everywhere,
I'm waiting for my time to shine,
Like a fireball with burning pride,
To show the world just who I am,
To show the world how grand I am,
I'm waiting for that wonderful night,
Where the air is cool and the moon is bright,
When he gets down on one knee,
And whispers..."will you marry me?"
