It was raining.

But then again, it was almost always raining. Or at least if felt like it.

Cath's room was quiet, Wren had gone out again, or was still out, seeing how it was like she was never at the dorm. And it wasn't like Cath could go home. She didn't have a ride. Reagan had gone out too, and probably was still out, because she also never seemed to return until noon or so. And God knows where Levi is. It seemed like everyone had something to do on the weekends but her.

She reached for her phone and dialed her dad's number.

"Dad? It's me. Cath. Call me, okay? Don't overwork yourself again."

Cath huffed. This was the first time she's felt bored in a long time. Usually she could come up with something, like writing another Simon Snow fan fiction, but she had just finished Carry On, Simon and she felt like she deserved a break.

The door to the dorm opened, jerking Cath from her zoning off. Levi stood in the doorway, carrying what looked like a box of granola bars. "Cather!"

"It's Cath."

"But your name is Cather."

"And I prefer Cath. Levi, you know this."

Levi sat down on Wren's bed, and opened the large box of granola bars. "I know. By the way, I got these granola bars. I've been eating yours again."

Cather shrugged. "That's alright. I haven't really been eating them. Did you get those for me?" She sat up straight and looked at Levi.

"Um, yeah. I did. But honestly, I might just eat these all my self."

"Hand me a Strawberry Soy, will you?"

Levi reached into the box and threw a granola bar in Cath's general direction. "Sure thing, sweetheart."

Cath let the granola bar fall onto her bed. "We should do something." Cath didn't look at Levi. She knew he was looking at her, he never stopped looking at her.

"Like what? It's raining." Levi moved from Wren's bed to Cath's, sitting directly in front of her. "Do you want to watch a movie?"

Cath shrugged. "I don't mind that it's raining. We could do something outside if you want. You're forgetting that last year we went on a date when there was snow on the ground."

Levi ran a hand through his hair. "But it wasn't snowing. It was cold, but it wasn't snowing. It's raining out there. Do you want to catch a cold?"

"Not particularly, but I don't really feel like writing. Ideas are still forming in my mind." Cath leaned forward and looked at Levi. And actually looked. She was pinpointing everything that had and hadn't changed over the last few months that was summer break.

His hair was receding still, his hair was still blond, his eyes were still blue, his face was still smiley, and he was still beautiful. As far as beautiful goes for guys, anyways. He was still Levi, and Cath couldn't be happier about that. After freshman year of College, some of the people she knew very well became strangers, and she was thankful Levi wasn't one of them.

Levi's smile was like home, something of fiction, and Cath never got tired of looking at it. "You smile a lot."

"I always smile."

"I know."

Levi's smile widened, right when Cath thought his smile couldn't get any bigger.

"Cath?"

"Yeah?"

"Will you read me some fan fiction?"

Cath wasn't surprised, but she was at the same time. She read Simon Snow and the Six White Hares to him, but what would she read to him this time?
