Chapter 1- Starting Off

All I could hear was a distant ringing... The ringing went on for about half an hour but I was so sleepy to worry about it.

That was until my mum yelled out my name
"Chloe" she says I don't reply I just kept sleeping

"Chloe Jade Turner get up this instant you are late for your first day at your new school"she yells

As soon as I heard late I jumped straight out of bed and checked my alarm. Crap!The ringing was the alarm trying to wake my lazy ass up and the time was 8:36 Double Crap !!!

I was going to be late for the first day at Robert Townson heights.

I quickly got dress in my school uniform I didn't have enough time to brush my teeth so I just got some gum to get rid of morning breath.I would hate to be the girl with bad breath.I brushed my hair and put it in a pony tail with my tandrils hanging from the side.

Oh how I hated my hair...i mostly hated everything about me, my skin colour, my weight, how I look when I wear jeans....Everything.

I weight 48 kilos and for me that is fat no matter how hard my mum or friends convince me that I'm not I never believe.

I live with my mum, just me and her. Dad left my mum when I was 14, I'm now 16.

When he left I swear to god she died inside...I would spend hours with her in her room I watched her cry and shriek so loud her lungs would hurt and she would feel like she couldn't breathe anymore....I watched her put her hands down her throat so she could vomit because she thought that maybe if she lost weight she would be capable of love....I watched her break her teeth on vodka bottles.... I watched her get so drunk she would text him 'I miss you' texts and he would reply with 'I don't love you anymore' and when he did she would throw her phone and cry so hard I could hear her.

As all these old thoughts come to me I become more late for school.

I put my shoes on and give my mum a kiss on the cheek before going as I do I still see the hurt in her eyes and how she still has tear stained cheeks.

I ignore the fact that she has been drinking again.

I leave and decide to catch a bus for school, It is now 8:53 and the bus finally arrives.I hop on and get seated, there are a few school kids in this bus they are wearing the same school uniform as me so I'm guessing they go to Robert Townson heights.

The bus ends at the school and everyone gets off.At this point I am really nervous I step out and it takes me a few minutes to process the school through my head.

It must have been class time because there was no one out in the playground.It took me a while to find the front office but I got there eventually.

I head straight to the desk and was greeted by a lady that looked about middle 30's
"Hello sweetie... new I see" she says with a welcoming smile

"Yes...and late...aha" I say nervous

"Oh don't worry your new it doesn't matter"
"Anyways lets find your class dear" she takes my hand and tags me along with her I follow

It took about 5 minutes to get to my class room.

"Here we are dear, now I will take you in and explain your lateness okay, here is your timetable" she hands me my time table we head for the door but stop before she opens it
"Now dear, my name is miss Chrenshaw okay and if you need anything else I'm just in the front office"
"Okay miss" I say with a smile

She opens the door, The class was really loud until they saw me....They all stopped and turned to me.I walk in slowly Miss Chrenshaw shows me a seat and I sit she then walks to the front and talks to the teacher that we had now she leaves after that.The whole class sat in silence.

"Okay class, we have a new student here to day my name is Mr Kale and I teach history" he says writing his name on the board

"Now introduce yourself please" He says smiling towards me

I stand up

"Hi my name is Chloe"i say looking down the whole time

"Hello Chloe" the whole class says very loud and clear

I sit down and the lesson continues

The lesson ends when the bell goes off for recess.I walk out of class but stop when my name gets called out.

"Chloe" a person from the crowd yells they come closer and I am greeted by a girl with long blonde hair just like mine and blue eyes that look like mine but mine are a darker blue

"Yes"I say with a warm glowing smile

"Hey my name is jess" she says handing her hand to shake I shake her hand and then let go

"Hey" I say
"Do you want to hang with me since its your first day"
"Yeah sure" I say smiling

She leads me to where her and her friends sit and tells me to join.
Her friends are really nice and welcome me to there group in the most friendly way possible

There were 5 girls in the group now 6 because of me.
Sophie was short with short black hair, she was skinny and did all types of sport then there was Talesha, she had long brunette hair and was also skinny she was very pretty, all the girls were,i already met jess,then there was liana she was cook islander and had long black wavy hair she told me she does oz tag football which was good because I do cheer leading so I could probably try for the cheer leading team.last but not least there was Gloria, she has medium length black hair and was short she was nice and had a funny personality.

After I met all the girls, A group of guys came by all the girls were blushing because half of them were dating which was adorable.

Sophie went off with her boyfriend Derek he was alright he played football and had a very muscular body they were so cute together he brought her some chocolates for the day which I found adorable.
Liana sat down with her boyfriend Elijah he was a big guy and he held liana close to him and gave her little kisses on the cheek, you could see her cheeks light up with joy.
Gloria also sat down with her boyfriend Phillip, he gave her a kiss so long all the girls shouted to them to get a room. Ahaha
Talesha didn't have a boyfriend but she liked one of the guys there, William and he liked her too but she told me it would be to hard for a relationship.

I just sat there and watched as half of the girls were there with there boyfriend and I sat alone with Talesha and jess that was until the cutest boy came by he had nice brown hair and an amazing body he came by to say hello to his girlfriend JESS!

She was very lucky,his name was John.....John Tucker he was so dreamy but I cant get feelings for him because he is dating jess.

"Hey,babe" John says grabbing jess's waist and pulling her close he stops as soon as he sees me
"Who is that cutie" he says joking around but I don't think jess took it that way
"She is the new girl,her name is Chloe and I would like if you didn't call her that since we are dating" she says annoyed
He let jess go
"Aw com'on I was playing around for fuck sake" he moves away from jess and heads to me
"Hey" he says with his dashing voice..WOAH!
"H-h-hey" I stutter looking at his beautiful hazel eyes
"New, aye"
"Yeah...aha" I say
"I could show you around....if you want" he says giving me a smile with a wink...WTF DOES THAT MEAN !!
"Yeah...sure" I say smiling
At this point jess got annoyed and grabbed john's arm , she pulled him away and they talked for about 3 minutes then she let him go and John came back.

He just sat across the table from me and didn't talk at all
The bell goes and we all head off jess didn't talk to me for the rest of day.
The day went pretty fast by the time I knew it the bell went for the end of the day.

I go home and mum is drinking her soul away again, she didn't even ask about my day she just drunk her drink and went to her room.
I walk to my room and fall flat on my bed.

What a great start to my new school life. jess hates me now because her boyfriend was flirting with me and I'm tried as fuck I fall asleep and the rest of the night was a blur.

Ugh I'm thinking about John and its only my first day
