I woke up, completely in shock.

"I'm seeing Farewell, My Love and Snow White's Poison Bite tonight," ran through my head like a broken record.

"Oh, you're awake. Danny left the list of chores for you and your sister today. PLEASE get them done before we get home," my Mother says as she steps in my room.

After she leaves, I stay in bed an extra few minutes. When I crawled out of bed, I was the only one in the house awake since my parents went to work and my sister was asleep. I immediatly went downstairs to start my chores so I could get them done and pass the time before the show"

Wash the dogs: Check!

Unload the dish washer: Check!

Wash any dishes in the sink: Check!

Clean room: Check!

Vacuum: Check!

It's now a little after 12:00, and the concert starts at 5:00 according to the site. My sister relaxes on the couch and watches TV as I run upstairs to take a shower. Once done, I went in my room and dry my hair then go back in the bathroom to straighten and hair spray it. Now, I do my makeup. Wait, how should I do my makeup!?

"Something people have liked seeing on you," I thought.

I went for black and grey smokey eyeshadow and LOTS of black eyeliner. It's around 2:00 or so when all of this is done(I take FOREVER to get ready). I throw my pajamas in the hamper and put on my attire I planned to wear a week before: My self painted jeans that say all the bands that played that night(well, the four main acts),a Snow White shirt I painted to look like Jeremy Thirteenth's skull face paint, and my self painted Of Mice & Men and My Chemical Romance shoes. My friend slams my door open.

"Dude!" I shout.

"Heyyy gurl!" she says, trying to sound ghetto.

She puts her bag beside my bed, I go to my dresser and put on my special key necklace that I wear EVERYDAY(sentimental reason). My friend and I go downstairs where we meet my Mom.

"You guys ready?" she asks.

"Yep," I answer.

We say goodbye to my sister, go outside, and get in the car. We drive to the bank to get money for tickets.

"I wish I had money for merch," I thought.

You see, when I go to concerts, if I want merch, I have to have my own money but I'm only 15 so I can't get a job yet. Which means, I'm broke. We drive through the 4:00 traffic AND thunderstorm. Huge bangs and flashes of zig zag lights from the clouds.

"The thunder is Mitch Lucker stomping, the lightning is strobe lights. Calm down," I repeat to myself.

We find the street the venue is on at around 5:00 and my Mom tells us to get out of the car and find the building the concert is in. We walk only to find out the venue was another block over.

"See! This is why she shouldn't have dropped us off!" I complain to my friend.

Before concerts, I always get irritated because I'm nervous for the show. Will I meet them? What if I do or say something stupid? What if I look like a complete fangirl? Will we get to the front of the stage? Shut up Carolyn! Everything will be fine.

We eventually find the building thanks to the poster saying "Snow White's Poison Bite" in huge letters. I ask the lady outside,"This is where the concert is tonight, right?"

She answers yes but I find out the doors open at 6:00. My Mom and step Dad appear and ask why we weren't inside.

"The doors open at 6:00."

"You said 5:00," my step Dad reminds me.

"That's what the site said!" I respond.

My friend and I wait outside, my parents wonder around to pass time. The venue smelled of cigarettes so my friend hides behind a wall. I stay in my spot.

"We're first in line, I'm not leaving!" I think.

My friend and I talk when suddenly, Chad from Farewell, My Love walks by!

"Dude, dude, dude! That's Chad!" I whisper to my friend, trying not to stare at him(TRY, not succeed :-P)

She looks at him like he was terrifying. She isn't into the bands wearing makeup and all black but I absolutely adore it so, I forget her opinion(which she's entitled to so I wont complain or try to convince her otherwise)and go back to our cut off conversation. We continue talking and WHADDA YAH KNOW! Röbby from Farewell, My Love walks by!

"Dude! That's Röbby!"

She gave him an even more disturbed look.

"Oh well. She'll see how sweet they are later, don't worry. GAH! 5:50, gotta tell Mom and Danny to come back!"

I text my parents who arrive five minutes later.

"Tickets for the show go on sale at 6:45 now," the lady and the outside counter says.

WERT. THE. FERK. I was told 5:00 when it was 6:00, I wait out here for another HOUR only to find out I need to wait another forty five minutes!? Ten minutes or so and my parents decide to go inside and sit at the bar.

"WOW. They left us out here to sit at the bar. SWEET," I complain to my friend once again.

My Mom texts me stuff going in inside. I get a photo from her.

"OH MY GOD! MOM NO!" I shout out loud.

"What?" my friend asks.

She looks at my phone and laughs. My Mom took a selfie with Charlee from Farewell, My Love. I send it to my sister to see what she says.

"I'm done," she replies.

My friend and I laugh and continue to wait. We talk with two girls, Faith and Brianna a bit so I completely forget to check if I was texted again.

Another picture from Mom!? Oh great.

"Which shirt do you want? Hurry, Röbby is picking!"

"LET HIM PICK!!!!!" I reply.

She steps outside later with a black t-shirt, with FAREWELL, MY LOVE in bold, yellow letters, and a band photo on it AND a rubber bracelet!

"I think the size is too big. I'll get a smaller size," my Mom says then goes back inside.

I look at the new bracelet on my wrist, right above my scars.

"Maybe I could tell them their music makes me want to quit, maybe they'll tell me to stop."

HOLY HOTDOGS! RÖBBY IS BACK OUTSIDE! My Mom walks by him and says hi, then points at me and says,"This is my daughter I was telling you about."

"Hi," I say with a MASSIVE smile.

"Hi, I'm Röbby," he repeats then steps up to me and gives me a welcoming hug.

"Yeah, I know," I think but don't say.

He thanks me for coming, I thank HIM for coming. He leaves to go somewhere else. *waits again with my friend and new friends*

I nudge my friend.

"Look! That's Logan crossing the street!" I say.

She gives him that same "What the eff?" look.

Finally, the lady says," Alright, step up."

"Three tickets," I say, buying tickets for my Mom, step Dad, and I.

"$30," she says.

I had her a $20 and two $5 bills.

She asks for my ID.

"I don't have one," I say nervously.

Oh God, I can't go inside! She takes my left hand, gets a black sharpie, "X". She takes my right hand, "X"

"Alright, enjoy the show," she says.

I step inside and wait for my friend. She buys her ticket and we run to the bar to meet my parents.

Tonight....is going to KICK. ASS.
