Alex's POV
"And ever since I became Lord of this village." Jess explained. I suddenly felt someone's eyes on me. Katz was asking a question but I knew something was wrong so I didn't listen. My eye flickered to the guy Laurance. I wouldn't blame him my eyes catch everyone eye's. But still he's the one who's been staring at me. It can be seriously misleading, like someone can think he's some kind of pervert. I used some of my magic skills to send a few burns through his spine. I don't like people staring at me when I'm not talking to them. I once again looked back at Jess. "What about Castor?" Pbat asked. "Oh yea.." Castor answered nervously. "How about we get to that topic another day."Jess answered. She moved to Laurance and Garroth. "I guess I have to explain to you guys huh?" Laurance kind of snapped out of his trance and moved from me to Jess. "Uh yea yes." Laurance said, He looked like he was in pain. I swear if he kills Aphmau on the spot I'll rip his head off and take his body and throw it in the ocean. "I don't think I should tell you all of it but I'll tell you some of it." Jess said a little nervously. "It's alright Aphmau, but can you start of off why there calling you Jess?" Garroth asked. "Jess is my first name." Jess answered with a little more confidence. "What's your full name?" Laurance asked in a dry voice. "Jessica Aphmau Oldinsen." Jess choked out. "She doesn't want to tell you guys anymore." I answered out. Tears fell down her face and she buried her face in my chest. I hugged her and whispered to her reassuring her everything is alright. Laurance was about to crack. I could see it in his eyes. Sly somehow got the message that Laurance is halfway to murder me. "Stand Back." Sly said making eye contact with Laurance. "What?" Laurance said with a more of a disgusting accent. "Laurance calm down." Garroth said in a attempt to calm him down. "Calm down??? Aphmau or Jess is burying her face in a full blown shadow knight!!" Laurance answered with full anger. "He said that he doesn't work for Zane or the Shadow Lord anymore." Garroth said back. "I knew this would happen, Alex make him stop." Jess whispered so only I can hear. "Garroth your taking his side!!!" Laurance said with more anger. "Stop." I answered smoothly. "What." His expression stopped. "I said Stop. Learn how to control your anger, Aphmau trusts me." I said clearly. Laurance finally snapped back to reality. "Aphmau....I'm sorry." He said apologetically. "I-it's fine." Aphmau sniffles through my chest. Laurance looked down. "I should go." Without any words or answers Laurance walked out. "Wait Laurance!" Garroth went darting after him. "It's ok.. You don't have to tell them anything." I gently stroked my hand into her hair. The guys went closer to pull Jess in a group hug.
