To me, this campaign is a declaration of war against rape culture in all of it's form. No mattet how severe, sexual harassment is never okay. Sex is a personal, private thing between you and who you wish to perform it with.

Slut shaming is shaming and stigmafying (it's a word now aight) a person's right to say yes. Saying yes to sex is perfectly okay, as long as you want to have sex with that person. Just because someone says yes, that does not automatically make it not be rape. If a person is blackmailed into saying yes, it is rape. If a person is punished (hit, burned, cut etc) until they say yes, it is rape. If a person says yes and then changes their mind but the other(s) continue, it is rape. If all parties involved in the intercourse give an immediate, willing, continuous yes, then it is sex.

'Prude' or 'virgin' is shaming and stigmafying a person's right to say no. Saying no to sex is completely fine, no matter what. You're relationship to the other person is completely unimportant. Saying no is always okay, no matter your age, gender, relationship with the other person, or what you said previously. Saying no after you have said yes is always okay. Saying no to your partner is always okay. Saying no to literally everyone in every situation is okay and should be respected.

The decision to have, or not to have, sex is entirely personal. If you base you decision off of religion, that is okay, and should be respected. If you base it off of what your parents taught you, that is okay and should be respected. If you base it off of your marital status, that is okay and should be respected. If you base it off of age, that is okay and should be respected. If you base it off of if you feel ready or not, that is okay and should be respected. If you base it off of how special the person is to you, that is okay and should be respected. If you truly don't give a shit about sex and don't want to engage in it, that is okay and should be respected. If you don't give a shit about sex and have it a lot, that is okay and should be respected.

You should be respected no matter what your opinions on sex are because your standards don't define who you are.

This campaign is to raise awareness that most people don't believe that. All too often, people are sexually assaulted and harassed, and that should be included in our literature to raise awareness. After all, if no one hears about a problem, no one can ever fix it.
