A world where nekos lived with humans, although when nekos are born they are to be examined to see if they were a dominate(seme) or a submissive(uke), if the child was clarified a uke they were given a white ribbon. The ribbon would change colors according to the kitten it also would take on patterns; also when a neko turns the age of 16 years old they'll receive their soul mate tattoo, it would appear somewhere on their body. A soul mate tattoo is the initials of the person who was made just for you, although since a kitten was given away to a human as an owner/ guardian they were given a neko name, but they also had they're original name; a neko name is the name the owner gives to the neko(kinda like: oh tom got adopted by a human! Human calls him stripes). It made it difficult to find their true soulmates. Some never even met eachother, and some are not satisfied as too who their soulmate is, so they reject them. Usually it's the semes who reject but on rare cases its the uke, the rejected is the one that feels the most pain though. Due to the pain some have died, and its now illegal to reject your mate, it's on the same level as murder. When the uke has been marked their bow will turn matalic and they will be able to take it off, as to not have trouble with other searching dominates.
