Chapter 4

Hannah's POV 

I waited on line for lunch, but I wasn't really that hungry so I just took an apple. I walked around the cafeteria looking for Elena and wondering what her friends would think of me. I wasn't the most popular kid in my old school.  

While walking around I heard a familiar voice calling my name. It was Dylan. God he was cute, he was sweet too. I walked over to him.

Hey Dylan I said

Hi Hannah he said nervously

Uh Hannah, this is my friend uh Tyler and this is his girlfriend Rebekah.

He pointed to them while still looking in my eyes.

Its nice to meet you Hannah, they said to me as we shook hands.

I've actually heard a lot about you said Rebekah

But i've only been here a day at Easton High.

Exactly, Tyler interrupted  

Uh by the way have you guys seen

Elena Wilson? I'm supposed to have lunch with her. I explained

Tyler choked on his juice. Elena Wilson? You hanging out with Elena Wilson?

Rebekah looked at him angrily. 

Sorry babe he said as he kissed her in the cheek

Um yeah why? I questioned

Well Elena is like the IT girl here at Northwest High. Tyler exclaimed

Oh we have close lockers, she seems nice. I said

It depends who you are and how you look, she's a strong believer in good first impressions. Rebekah explained

I heard a girl voice scream my name

HANNAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

It was Elena.

I found her. I giggled

Oh well I'll see you around Dylan said

Yeah definitely and plus Dylan we still on for later lacrosse and in and out burger? I asked

Uh yeah I would've thought you forgot about that. Yeah definitely. Dylan said he seemed excited

I better get to Elena. See you guys later. I said and waved goodbye 

I walked over to Elena, she looked confused.

Hey Hannah, why were you talking to Dylan O'brien, Tyler Posey and Rebekah Jensen?

Their cool and I think their nice Elena. I added  

Uh um ok. Elena said 

Well Hannah I'd like to introduce you to my friends.  

This is Elizabeth Cooper, Jasper Davidson, Leah Marten, Mason Haynes, and Bonnie Matthews.

Its nice to meet you all, I'm Hannah Humphrey. I'm from New York City.

What part of NYC did you live in? Asked Bonnie

I actually lived on the lower east side of manhattan. I said

Wow, your an east side girl. I'm already starting to like you Humphrey. Elizabeth said.

It felt so weird talking to them. I felt as if I didn't get their jokes. I sat there very uncomfortably. I saw Dylan staring at me. He had that "why so sad face". 

I wanted to be sitting by Dylan, Tyler and Rebekah. I needed to get away from the popular clan.
