Waiting

We walk down the hall holding hands. Your touch sends a warm sensation up my arm.
So are we a thing now? ... I hope so.
This morning made me giddy. We kissed. Isaac kissed me. Me. I'm still in shock. I can taste you still. Your mouth tastes like a chocolate covered pretzel. Salty and sweet.
You squeeze my hand and say, "Ally, we have different first bells."
Crap. I'm gonna have to let him go. I draw you into a hug.
You rest your lips gently on my forehead and say, "Meet me at lunch.", then turn and jog sexily away. I grin. Literature, history, science, and biology -my first four bells- breeze by and I don't even notice. Waiting. I'm waiting for lunch.

I'm waiting for you.
