My Flight; Part 2

I haven't talked to Alana since she left to Italy. She was mad at Jason about something before she left. I don't even know why, we didn't talk after that. That was the day Castro took me away. I wonder if she would ever come back. Her family left for a reason so maby she wouldn't.

I felt the plane start to move down the lane. It was happening. The plane is moving.. God I was scared to go to Michigan but the only reason this was happening was because of my wrist. It was worse yesterday, it kind of burned.

I gripped the bottom part of my seat that I wasn't sitting in. The plane was starting to move off of the ground. This was actually happening. What ever happened to my old life? To being a normal person? None of that matters.

What am I saying, yes it does.

The death of Roger and of Aaron have affected me, badly. To find out Alana just left without a word, and when Valerio came back into my life. To be considered anorexic to a mental hospital. To actually be in a mental hospital. What kind of a person am I? I've changed so much I bet the old Karen died at one point.

Clouds block my view from the city below.

''Um, Cyrus, how long have you been in the mental hospital?'' I whispered.

''About two years.'' He muttered.

And he survived?! Damn. Unless he isn't human, but I can't sense anything off about him.

Crystal took out her phone and started texting, I guess. She smiled at the screen wich made it clear that she was. I turn to the front of the plane and see someone duck down.

He kind of looked like Valerio. Even if I only saw his hair and part of his shirt I was sure it looked like him.

I laugh to myself, that's impossible. I must be hallucinating.

''Here.'' Crystal handed me two see through pills and a glass of water, ''For your headache.''

''Thanks.'' I say.

The flight to Michigan was short, well to me anyways. I had butterflies when we started to land. I was literally shaking with fear.

Why didn't I run when I had the chance? I know nothing about my new surroundings. I'll die.

Snow was everywhere. The lane was the only thing that wasn't covered with snow. It looked pretty. Instantly the cold hit us when we exited the plane.

''I will get both of your luggage. We need to hurry, they're expecting us.'' Crystal smiled.

A chill crawls through my body and I step back. The way she said that made me want to run the moment she ended her sentence.

''It's okay. C'mon.'' Cyrus whispered in ear.

I try to pull myself together, ''Okay.''

Wait, luggage?

''What luggage, Crystal?'' I tap her on the shoulder.

''I know I didn't tell you, but when we get to the house, I will tell you everything.'' She opens the door for us.

''Oh okay.''

We wait at the entrance for the person that was picking us up.

A nice white van appeared before us. That was it.

Crystal opened the door for us and we hopped in.

The driver was actually a lady. About Crystal's age, maby younger. The thing that was off about her was her clothes. She didn't look like a guard or anything like that.

''Karen, I do owe you an explanation. This is my younger sister, Lisa. She will be the doctor you have now. She's going to help you with your wrist. We will all be living in her house until you both get better. You will not be in a mental hospital because Lisa needs to study both of your lifestyles to see if your wounds will heal properly.''

''Oh, okay.'' I say uneasy.

The good thing is that we would have more freedom.

I just wasn't too sure about all of this.

Cyrus wasn't too sure either, anyone with eyes could tell.

''This is the house!'' Lisa opened the door and let us in.

Jeez, and I thought it looked big from outside. The house could be considered a mansion!

''It's very beautiful.'' I whisper.

''Thank you.'' She beams.

Crystal brought up two identical luggage to separate rooms. Our rooms, i'm guessing.

''Is anyone hungry? You both came just in time for dinner.''

Cyrus nods, ''That sounds good.''

I nod as well.

''Okay, but first let me show you your rooms. Then you can wait there til I finish with dinner.''

Lisa takes us upstairs then walks down the hallway, she stops at the forth door, ''Karen, this is yours and Cyrus the one across is your room.''

I wait until Lisa isn't in sight for me to inside.

'My room' was very spacious. A window was across from the door while the bed was on the the far right end of the room. A dresser and nightstand are side by side to the opposite side. A rug was separating the two and a walk in closet was included too.

I stared in awe, compared to the hospital's rooms and the mere memory of my old room, it was amazing.

I slowly made my way to the window, snow was everywhere. So much for an escape, a tree blocked my way down either way.

The luggage that Crystal brought up caught my attention. Might as well unpack. Then again, I didn't even know what was inside.

I unzipped it slowly. It was packed tight with clothes. They were the same clothing patients were forced to wear at the mental hospital.

''Dinner!'' Lisa yelled.
