"You don't understand! I don't belong here.. on this earth at this time." Tears streamed down her pale face as she slid down her bedroom wall and pulled her knees to her chest. Gerard slowly sat beside Lacey and took her hand before kissing it ever so gently. "I'm so sorry... I just...ugh. I have no idea how to help you and it's slowly killing me inside. Please tell me how to help you..."
"Stay...please stay the night and hold me. There isn't much you can do as it is only me who can help myself get better... I just don't know how. So until I figure out how to fix everything, please will you: hold me when I'm sad, stay the night when I feel lonely and message me when I need someone to talk to." Lacey's voice cracked.
Gerard hugged her tightly as he spoke... "are you sure that will help?"
In reply to Gerard's question Lacey smiled and said "Yes... yes it will."
