This was the happiest I had ever been. Watching everyone around me having fun but yet still including me. It made me feel wanted. They didn't expect too much from me, nor did they expect too little. They made sure that I knew I was loved and wanted but I was still allowed to be sad without being told to 'get over it'. I felt understood for the first time in my life.

The water felt calming as it washed up over my feet and slowly drifted backwards repeatedly. Suddenly a voice interrupted my peaceful thoughts...

'Hurry up!' Luna shouted as all my friends started to make their way into a slightly deeper part of the sea and began to splash water at each other.

And without a single thought irrational thought crossing my mind, I smiled before running into the water to join them.
