I had no idea how fast I could run until now. I streamed back to the house, tore through the door frame and looked around.
"Sam, Jake? It's Jarred! He's- done something and he's dying!"
I screamed at the top of my voice.
Sam and Seth appeared.
"Seth, Leah, come!" We sped as fast as our legs could take us, Jacob spotted us along the way and saw the look in our faces. He joined us and soon Paul was here to.
We all arrived to see Embry sobbing over the wolf's body. We all came to his side and helped lift the huge dog. Jarred was heavy. Seriously, Emily shouldn't over feed these guys.

Sam grabbed the phone and dialled a number with a look of regret on his face.
"Carlisle. We need you. Something has gone wrong with Jarred."
There was a fast reply and as soon as Sam slammed the phone down he tried thinking up possible reasons for what was wrong with Jarred.
There was a knock at the door, it seemed Sam had already heard it before hand because he was already opening the door before the last knock. A pale faced man with blonde hair and angelic features stood in the doorway.

"Let's see what up here then."
The man said, it must be Carlisle.
I recognised him very well. An image of the same man appeared leaning over me.
You smashed through our glass window...
"Oh!" Everyone turned to stare at me.
I shook my head, "sorry."

Carlisle scanned Jarred.
"Can he not change back?" Carlisle said, he began prodding and poking in different places of Jarred's body.
Sam shook his head.
"Embry and Leah found him like this."
I turned back towards the wall. I thought for a moment, the snapping,  the yelling...

"Does Embry or Leah have any clue of what happened?"

I suddenly found myself walking up to Carlisle and started spitting infomation.

"I could hear this snapping and yelping but-"

"Oh no." Carlisle pressed his pail hand against his forehead.
"Edward was right."

Sam grabbed the man's shoulder.

"Tell us!"

"A newborn escaped Victoria and Edward was reading his mind. He was running down into La Push. I'm so sorry."

Sam shook his head.

"I can help, however at this rate of healing and my intelligence in veterinary surgery, it's going to be difficult."

Carlisle began to operate on the wolf.
I felt my mobile buzzing in my back pocket and quickly answered.

"Hello?"

"Leah, honey. Where have you been!? I have been phoning Seth and he won't pick up."

"I wonder why," I muttered silently,
I cleared my throat and said,
"You know what Seth is like. Any way. Did you want us back?"

"Yes! I have some food on the go."

The sound of food seemed very appealing to me.

"Fab. See you later mum."

I hung up quickly.

"Seth-" I yelled, running into the house. But nobody was talking now. In fact, Jarred was lying in human form on the table that Carlisle had been operating on. However Jarred was still cold out.

"Leah. Let's go." And we left.

Jacob caught us halfway home.

"Guys. Jarred is ok. One thing you must know is to keep calm in front of your parents. You don't want to rip off anyone's face when they get on your nerves, so just step out if your getting really pissed."

We nodded solemnly.

"Bye. Tell us if Jarred gets any better."

Jake nodded.
