Dolphin Tails

Harry rolled over to reach for his phone under his pillow. He was slightly blinded by the light as he squinted his eyes to press the snooze button on his iPhone 6. The time read 6:00 am. He grunts before turning back over to lay down for an extra ten minutes.

For the next 10 minutes, Harry thought about all the things he needed to do to prepare for their first spring show today. He had to get the animals ready, clean out the turtle tanks, wash the reefs, make sure all technical issues were ok before they went on. But those were only some of the things he needed to do today.

But he's not going to complain. He loves his job and he doesn't want to do anything else. He can't see himself doing anything else.

When the ten minutes are up. Harry sits up in his bed shaking his head and runs his fingers through his hair. He stands up and walks out of his room to his bathroom. He turns on the shower to warm it up while he stands in front of his mirror with half closed eyes.

Once the shower is warm Harry takes off his boxers and steps in. He lets the water run down his face and down his back and chest. His tattoos riffling under the water. He runs his hands down his face letting his hair soak up the water. He stands like this for a few minutes before he begins to wash his body.

When he's done, he steps out the shower and wraps the towel around his waist. He goes to the mirror and takes out his tooth brush and tooth paste and starts to brush his teeth.

After he's done he goes back to his room and goes to his closet to pull out his clothes. Which was a pair of skinny jeans and a dark t-shirt that says Tommo's Aquarium with blue dolphins surrounding the name. He pulls out some under wear in his drawer and drops his towel to put in on. 

Once he's dressed he goes down stairs to grab something quick to eat. He decides to take a bagel with him, applying the cream cheese and putting it on a plastic plate to carry out with him. Grabbing his boots and putting them on he steps out the door with the plate and a pair of keys in hand. His satchel swung over his shoulder.

When he got in his 2013 Black Volkswagen Beetle. He sat his plate in the seat next to him. He touched the glass dolphin statue hanging from his rear view mirror and smiled. He decided to stop at Dunkin Donuts to get the dollar coffee that they have. It's not like it's any good, but he needed something to keep him woke for today. Besides they were only a dollar.

After getting his coffee, he drove the 25 minutes it took him to get to work. He ate his bagel while driving. He parked in the employees parking space and shutting out the engine, he got out the car. He walked the stairs leading to the building with the marine animals inside. He was happy because winter has ended and they can officially have the animals outside. Being inside is kind of boring. He like being outside with the sun on his skin as He does his job. I'm pretty sure that the animals like it too.

He makes his way to his small office with a few hellos from other staff here and there. He opens his door sit his coffee down on his desk and takes his satchel off. He checks the clock and its says 7:48 am. He lets out a sigh. He goes over to his tank that has two turtles in it. "Well hello, guys. Oh.. I'm sorry Margaret. I Mean guys and girls." He reached down to pet Margaret. She poked her neck out and opens her her mouth. He takes some food and drop it in her mouth. He watches as Timmy slowly walks to where his hand is with his neck sticking out as well. He drops some food into his mouth as well.

They like to be hand fed like this all the time. He just smiles at them.

When He's done, he goes over to his desk and sit down turning on his laptop. It barely comes on when he hears a voice.

"Oi!" He yells. "What are you doing? Everyone else is out there making preparations." Harry looks up to see cerulean blue eyes looking back at him. He lets out another sigh.

"Louis, I just got in." He says. "Can I at least get settled first?"

"Hmm. I guess."  He says with his hands on his hips. "But I need your butt out there to help with everything before we open. Today's a big day for us." He leans on Harry's desk. He holds his hands in the air. "Spring opening" he sniffs the air. "Can't you just smell the money?." Harry rolls his eyes.

"It's not all about the money Lou." He says scrolling around on my computer. " but I'll be out soon. Just have a few things to check, with stocks and stuff."

"Alright." He says standing straight up.  " but I hope you didn't forget about our newcomer." He says. Harry brows scrunch in confusion.

"Newcomer- 00h, yeah." He says snapping his finger. How could he forget.  "The new guy." I say. "What's his name? Uh-Zenn.. Or something."

"Zayn Malik. Word on the street he's new eye candy" he says. Harry rolls his eyes.

" you know I'm not interested Louis." He sighs.

"Still letting that bloke put your life on hold huh?" He says. Harry let's out a breath offended by his friends comment. When Harry doesn't say anything, Louis gets the hint and sighs. "Fine. I'll leave you be. But don't take too long. I will appreciate it, if you were to show him the ropes." He says. With that he leaves Harry along to his thoughts.

Hmm Zayn Malik. This shall be interesting.  He thought.

A/n: so this is a new thing that I want to try. I can't wait till the spring to really start it. It's going to be awesome!
