I opened my eyes, I was on top of soft grass on a hill. I blinked a couple of times so that I could soak in my surroundings. Before I got the chance to get up I felt a water droplet, then another, and another, by this time it was pouring. I stood up and started walking towards my house, twigs cracking underneath my feet. Then I heard thunder. I'm terrified of thunder. I fell to the ground and covered my ears while pinching my eyes shut. "Why is this happening to me?" I whispered to myself, voice trembling. I saw a shadow in the distance, I decided to crawl over to it. When I was within a meter away from it I realized it wasn't a person, it was a wolf! I felt my face flush, I can't even imagine the face of horror I was making.
I decided to get up started to run despite hearing multiple cracks of thunder. I took a quick peek behind me, that was a terrible idea. I tripped over a small pebble. Then I heard another cracking sound, but it wasn't thunder. It was the branch above me snapping in half and falling on top of me. I scream in agony. I try to get the branch of me but I can't! It was to heavy for me! "Why do I have to be so weak!" I yell to myself. By this point it was most likely that both my legs were broken. It was dark and I saw a figure, thinking it was the wolf I yelled, "go away!" Once the figure came closer I realized it wasn't the wolf.
The figure was actually a boy about the same age as me. He had scars and scratches all over his body. His eyes seemed to glow a low beautiful turquoise in the dark. I stared at him for a moment longer until I winced at the pain in my legs. The boy without saying a word walked over to my helpless body and lifted the tree branch off of me. I somehow managed to hold in my painful scream. I looked down to my legs which I couldn't feel, they were crushed. The brown haired boy lifted me up and carried my bridal style to my little cabin-looking house. How he knew that I lived there is surprising. Let laid me down on my bed and went to reach something in his pocket, it was a small glass bottle no larger than quarter. "Drink this." He finally said while he handed me the odd little bottle with liquid inside. I didn't question him, I took the cap off and drank whatever was inside it. I felt dizzy and my head was now throbbing. "What was that?" I asked weakly. Before he could answer I felt my eyes close shut and drifted away into my sleep.
