8:10 a.m.

here i am, about to make the biggest choice of my life:

to audition for the main role of a film.

i've never thought of hitting it big, y'know.

i've only been on commercials or small television cameos.

but recently i thought to myself:

if i want to become a successful actress, i need to reacher bigger heights.

my name is felicity jean asbury, i'm 16 years old, and i've been here since six-thirty in the morning,

waiting to audition for a this new film called "dear diary."

i'm auditioning for the role of evie maddox, a fifteen year old girl who's an outsider,

who always writes everything in a diary.

i think the character is pretty cute, and the plot is great.

so why not give it a try?

even if the movie studio isn't well-known.

9:40 a.m.

an hour and a half later, and i've finally been called.

and no lie, the lobby is practically empty,

most likely because i came here pretty late.

"miss felicity asbury," a lady walked out of the room and said. "please, come in."

"oh, yes." i nodded, walking in.

when i walked in, i noticed a few things:

the dull, white walls,

men and women in business suits,

tall, green plants in two corners,

and a turned off tv.

the type of things that scream "a serious movie studio"

or maybe even a "low-budget movie studio"

 ✿

"hello, felicity." the lady said once again. "i'm daphne ulrich. i'm the director of this film."

"it's nice to meet you, miss ulrich."

she chuckled. "please, darling. call me daphne."

i smiled lightly and nodded.

she then pointed at the man at her right. "this is michael pacheco, the casting director.
