Recap-

At that moment I realised he was finished talking, Huh. I leaned in and kissed him. His lips were soft, not really the same as James’s but they still felt good. He kissed me back. As he lead me into his office I thought to myself, I’ll never really like this guy. He not my type. But still.....he made up my mind when he started to take his shirt off. It’s not really cheating if you know it will go nowhere.

Chapter two-

I swiftly got dressed. My mum would be waiting; she probably wondered why I took so long. The Doctor (Ethan) was zipping up his flyer.

“Thanks Doc” I said

“Welcome” he replied

“Can I call you sometime?” he said

“Sure” I said, mentally noting to myself to give him the wrong number.

We walked out and there were my mum. She ran up to Ethan and me.

“Are you okay? I can’t believe you could fall into the table and cut your wrist on the corner.” She said flustered

“Yeah it is an odd place.” Ethan said, giving me a knowing look.

“Hehe...well mum be better be going don’t want you to miss Grays Anatomy.” I said pushing her out the door.

“She is going be fine Ms Stone, as long as she doesn’t ‘fall’ on anymore tables to soon.” He looked at me. “Take it easy, do no more ‘falling’ for the next 3 weeks” he said

Ha....falling, Nice one Doc.

I pushed my mum out the door and called after her.

“Be there in a minute!”

I looked up at Ethan into his brown eyes.

“See you later” I said fluttering my long eyelashes.

“Okay” he whispered back.

He gave me a soft kiss on the lips. I waited until it was over and ran quickly out. Hopefully I would never see him again, I was with James.

I got into my car, mum already firmly buckled up. She had a fear of cars and driving ever since dad died. We were a nice family, had nice friends, had a normal life. That was until mum drove off the bridge.

*5 years earlier*

As I got into the car I laughed at dad trying to sing. God he was embarrassing. My mum was already in the car smiling.

“Get in the car Henry we don’t want to miss the airplane.” My mum sung at my dad.

“Coming Honey.”  He sung back

He opened to door and shut it with force, no dad would really be able to achieve. My parents are really young; my mum was only 16 when she had me. My dad was 18 but they fell in love quickly and got married two years later.

My dad is now 29, my mum 26 and I’m eleven.

My mum leaned in followed by my dad. They kissed and I added the sound effects.

“Ewwwww can we get on the road, and stop this gross-a-thon.” I screeched like the little girl I was.

“Okay sweetie.” My dad turned around and flashed me his brilliant white teeth.

“You’re the Boss”

He turned back and punched the button on the stereo

“Lets hit the road.”

My mum took a sip of her water bottle and put it at the floor near her feet. This was gunna be awesome.

Time flew by and an hour later we had nearly reached the airport. We were laughing and was currently on the bridge.

I heard the screech of tires before I saw them. The car in front of us slammed to a hault and my mum swerved just in time. My breath I had been holding in released and I looked at mum. But her face was still full of panic. Why?

I realised we were still going to the left at a alarming rate. I looked down at the pedals wondering why mum hadn’t stopped. The drink bottle was caught under the brake and no matter how hard she pushed it wouldn’t bulge.

My dad was trying to help but in the process his leg got stuck. We flew off the bridge, smashing into the wall. When he hit the water it started to full up the car. We had gone under the water by now and the water was up to my neck. I took a deep breath and undid my seat belt. I slammed open the car door and swam out. I was out of oxygen but I kept going, knowing I was only a couple of meters from the surface.

I burst out of the water sucking in a breath of air. I looked down it the clear water but saw nothing. I took another deep breath and ducked under the water.
