It all started when I was seven years old. My best friend, Cole, had given me a heart-shaped locket for my birthday with a picture of the two of us inside. I loved it so much I never took it off. Not even when Cole and his family moved to England. We tried to stay in touch, but as the years passed, we had less and less time to contact each other. Until one day in eighth grade when all contact just stopped. I never imagined that in three years he would come back.
