The Demon Within (on hold/editing)

Chapter 3

Chane's P.O.V:

I heard Viper's alarm go off in the room right next to mine. Once she turned off her alarm I got out of bed and went across the hall to the bathroom. Shutting the door, I turned the shower on as high as it would go. Once I did that I took off my boxers and stepped in to the scolding hot water. I grabbed my axe body-wash and spread it all over my body. Then I washed the soap off my body. I shampooed my hair and rinsed it out. I got out of the shower, dried off, and went back into my room. I slipped my boxers on and put on my jeans. I grabbed a simple gray v-neck out of my closet. Once I was fully dressed I put a piece of gum in my mouth.

I went to go get Vanitey, Ike, Leon, and Viper. Once I knew Vanitey was awake Ike, Leon, and I went into Vipers room. Once again she has wrapped herself in her blankets. Leon, Ike, and I looked down at her watching her show. I laughed which made her look up at me with a glare that would scare you half to death, but since we are used to it she wasn't even scary.

Once she was done glaring I picked her up and through her over my shoulder. While I was laughing I looked at Ike and Leon. They already had her closet doors open. I threw her on a pile of her clothes then we shut the doors to her closet just before she yelled, "Let me out of here you asshole." I looked at the closet and laughed.

"Get dressed or you can't go hunting for a week." I yelled.

She gasped and said, "Hey that's not fair." I heard clothes being thrown around the closet.

Ike and Leon opened the closet doors and Viper walked out fully dressed. I threw her over my shoulder again and walked out of her room and downstairs to the living room where Vanity was laughing. We all know she puts up a fight before school but we still find it funny. After Viper and Vanitey were done arguing Leon and Ike walked out from the kitchen and shoved a waffle in Viper's mouth. We grabbed our keys and I put Viper on my bike back words (just because it's funny to see her reaction).

Once again we were almost late but it makes for a good bad ass persona. We pulled into the parking spot and I threw Viper over my shoulder. I headed inside the school and as usual the teachers yelled at me to put my sister down but I didn't listen. I dropped her off at her locker and went to talk to some freshmen girls. As I talked with them I saw the head cheerleader talking to my sister. I said goodbye to the girls and left them squealing like they just saw One Direction or something like that.

In class Viper started to finish her show that she was watching until the teacher called on her and asked if she knew the answer. After class the rest of the day was a blur. History class is what scared me. The project for history is terrifying, proof that the pack exists. Viper has a plan or at least she says she does.

Today is training day for the younger kids so I cant worry about the project right now, I have to go home and round up the kids. We have to teach them how to shift from human to demon. Every one already knows how to shift in to wolves. Our breed of wolves go though the human to wolf shift at the age of 5 in a pack, But in out pack members shift at the age of 11 or 12 (around middle school age), but because of what we are we have two shifting stages. The first one is our wolf transformation or shift. The second is our demon transformation. Once you have mastered both of them we start the real training.

Training with excited demon kids never fails to tire me out. It's like a five year old kid hopped up on sugar times 10, but there are at least 80 kids we have to train. Thank god there isn't more. I can't help but feel like we were being watched throughout the whole training session. It really creeped me out but I just shrugged it off and went inside the house.

As I walked into the kitchen I saw Viper sitting on the counter eating pizza bagels. I walked past her and opened the fridge. I grabbed a bottle of water and a bag of Cheetos out of the cabinet and went into the living room to sit down on the couch. I sighed.

"It seems like training gets harder an harder each year we have to train them." 

"You can say that again little bro."  Viper said as she walked into the room. 

I gave her a cold glare. "You know we are only one year apart sis."

"So? Your still my little brother." Viper said as she got off the couch. She walked to the stairs then turned around an smiled. "Come on! We have to get ready. We're going somewhere."

"Where exactly are we going?" I asked slightly scared.  

"To help our cousin's cause they are coming to stay with us for a while," said Viper.

"Why are they coming here though? Why can't they just go stay with mom or one of there friends in Olympus?" I asked already tired from the long night of training. 

"because there family an we have extra rooms even with addin staying with us" viper said 

"ok well what time do we have to be at the airport assuming there actually taking a plain this time" i asked slightly nervous. 

"i suggest getting fresh clothes now cause the airport is 2miles away from the house an we have to be there in 20 minuts" 

alright but dont take to long in the shower i need to use it too i smell like fire and sweat i say as were walking up the stairs.

we got to the airport in no time at all which was surprising cause we should of gotten pulled over for speeding , an now we are waiting for them to get off the plan when viper starts to complain  "ugh how much longer are they gonna be!"  viper complained for the fifth time , i chucled an reminded her again for the fifth time in the short ten minutes we've been sitting here waiting for them to get off the plain that landed five minutes ago " they just landed the plain vip its gonna be a little bit longer you now this now just be patient"   " im going to go get a cup of coffee i will be right back " viper said sightly annoyed  i  let out a sigh an continued to watch for our cousins an not long after viper left i heard  the familiar arguing of my two favorite people getting closer to where i was sitting.
