---Aphmau's POV---
"Ah, Aphmau you look lovely in that dress!" Said one of the ladies who helped me get ready.
"Th-Thanks..." I said quietly.
"And it fits you perfectly!" Said the second.
"Wow, you're so lucky to marry Zane Ro' 'Meave! You'll get to be the ruler of O'khasis along with him!" Said the third.
"You think?" I said sarcastically.
About ten minutes later, I was sent out to the ceremony. I walked down the aisle with a straight face. It was hard not to cry. I glimpsed over at Laurence who was tied to a chair in the front row. When I finally got to my place in front of Zane, he smirked.
I'll just skip the "wedding" part. Now me and Zane are married. And Laurence would now be executed. We went into the thrown room. I sit in my thrown with my hands tied behind my back so I wouldn't try to stop the exicution. This isn't fair! I thought. Then I remembered Laurence's words:
"I know that you don't want to marry him. But I promise you... That I will stay with you, and you will stay with me, and I will get you out of this situation."
I didn't really expect him to keep his promise. I can't blame him... There's no way to stop Zane. A tear rolled down my cheek.
"Hm, looks like Aphmau is ready. So... Whenever you are." Said Zane to the executioner.
He raised his weapon
He's gonna die
Almost...
I could have done something
Very little time...
Maybe I can still do something...
He's gonna die...
Goodbye...
Gone. Laurence was stabbed. I lost control and yelled at the top of my lungs. My hands broke free from the handcuffs. (Holy crap! Aphmau is the hulk! XD)
I ran over to him. Dead. No.... Yes... I don't know. All I did was cry and hug him.
"N-n-n-no....p-please no... I-I can't lose him....no...." I said. Then I sang...
Calling out your name: (part of the song)
I said, i gave all my love to you
We dreamt of a new house
Some place to be at peace
But things changed and suddenly,
I lost my dreams in this disaster
I need to face it... My lover is dead.
---Third Person Veiw---
But then something happened.... From Aphmau's hand, there was a bright white glow. Aphmau opened her eyes.
"W-What the!?" She questioned.
"Huh?" Zane asked.
When the light went away, Laurence opened his eyes! Aphmau's whole face lit up. She smiled and hugged him tighter.
"L-L-LAURENCE YOU'RE ALIVE!" She yelled. Laurence sat up and hugged her back.
"Aphmau I—" Laurence began,
"WHAT THE— SHE HEALED HIM!? Guards! Take Aphmau away from him!" Commanded Zane. Two guards from behind Aphmau dragged her along from her arms. Many guards swarmed the area. Everyone looked confused and scared about Aphmau. "Now, kill him! Make sure she can't do that again!"
Guards crowded Laurence. Aphmau called him name in fear.
"HEY! LET GO OF ME!" Yelled Laurence. "Let go or I'll—" But then he yelled loudly and transformed into... a Shadow Knight!?!
XxAphmau's POVxX
Wait...how did Laurence just transform into a Shadow Knight!? And how did I heal him!? There were so many questions that I longed to be answered. But Laurence turned completely Shadow Knight.
"I WONT LET YOU HURT MY APHMAU!" He said in a corrupted voice. And he was protecting me!
He fought against the guards and killed them off one-by-one. I was shocked! Laurence never acted this way before. Why was he so mad all of the sudden? Soon most the guards were slaughtered and Laurence spotted Zane. The guards that held me back were now gone because they went to fight Laurence. But they died. I stood up. But then Zane started the run! He ran out of the castle and into the forest. Laurence chased him.
"GET BACK HERE YOU COWARD!" He yelled after him. I chased after Laurence.
"L-Laurence wait!" It was hard to run in a wedding dress. I kept stumbling over it and falling. But I got up again and chased after Laurence. But I soon lost him. I called out his name a few times. I was worried. Then I spotted him in front of me!
"Ugh! Where did he go!?" I herd him ask. But then he collapsed onto the ground, passed out. I ran up to him. Then he turned back to his normal self. But he was still passed out. What did all that mean!?

Don't worry guys, I still have A LOT planned for this book. And you all were probably hoping for Aph to kiss Laurence. But nope! I'm saving their first kiss for the perfect moment! Anyways, hope you enjoyed!
