Stevie's POV
I was sat on my bed in the middle of my teal coloured room trying to write a new song, but I had no inspiration, none at all. Kacey had given me the theme of love and even though I may be in love with my boyfriend of six months, Zander, I couldn't put those feelings into words and rhythms.
My phone buzzed and I reached to grab it from my bedside table. It was from Zander.
Zander: Hey, u busy?
Stevie: Kinda but I could use a break. y?
Zander: Mind if I come round? x-treamely bored atm.
Stevie: Sure, use the window.
Five minutes later Zander's head appeared in my bedroom window, luckily my bedroom was on the ground floor where we used to have a study, then all my brothers were upstairs. Zander always came in through my window, it was much easier since my parents weren't exactly Zander's biggest fans.
"Hey babe." He said as he threw his legs over the widow sill.
"Hey Z and don't call me babe." I greeted and told him as he plopped down onto my bed next to me, I didn't mind being called 'baby' but 'babe' was just so ordinary and impersonal.
"Sorry baby." He kissed my head "What you doing?"
"Trying very hard to write a song that doesn't want to be written." I told him, annoyed at the blank page.
"Tough one. Writer's block?"
"Yeah." I answered, falling back onto my pillow.
"I have a cure for that." He fell back next to me and propped himself onto his elbow, looking me in the eyes. Then he leant in and kissed me, I put my hands around his neck and pulled him deeper into the kiss, I wrapped my legs around his waist as he hovered over me.
The door flung open and in walked my mum, coughing loudly to tell us she was here, Zander quickly fell off of me and sat on the side of my bed, smiling awkwardly at me. She rolled her eyes and left, knowing we wouldn't do anything now she knew Zander was here. The door slammed shut and we burst into laughter, falling back onto my bed. My writer's block was immediately gone.
